    Professionals need to have their tools where they leave them. Adobe PLEASE do not "help" us any more!
    Provide a way to lock the tool bars or workspace. Much time being wasted!

    The toolbar is making me crazy. Why does it keep changing? And hiding tools in unrelated places. This is a major bug that needs to be addressed. I'm losing so much productivity.

    For Hells Sake! I have been dealing with this since 2018 version! PLEASE let us lock/unlock the toolbars!!

    I don't know if Adobe engineers monitor the "new feature request" board, but this same issue has (as I post this) 437 'up-votes' - and a huge number of comments. This is a deal-breaker size bug. And it's an easy fix - simply add the ability to lock the toolbar.

    Same here using the latest Illustrator as of January 17 and OSX Mojave.

    Great time to announce a price increase, Adobe! With the time lost in tracking down tools I've been losing income anyway. Affinity is looking better and better.

    I think its an issue that this is an "Illustrator Feature Requests " form and not the Illustrator Bug" form... Maybe the guys over at Adobe are not prioritizing this HUGE bug because of that...

    DID ANYBODY TEST THIS? EVERY RELEASE THERE'S A RIDICULOUS 'IMPROVEMENT' LIKE THIS THAT NO-ONE LIKES AND ADOBE HAS TO FIX IT. TEST IT BEFORE RELEASE. BEEN USING AI FOR 25 YEARS AND IT'S A CONSTANTLY A FRUSTRATION AND DISAPPOINTMENT.

    Right, I'm downgrading. Having the tools move around the toolbar is wasting me far too much of my time. I'm a 20+ year veteran user and a UX expert. This is pure bad UI.

    Have the toolbar locked by default and let people unlock it if they want. I bet your analytics would find almost nobody unlocks it.
