  2. Enabling Rulers or entering Outline or Isolation mode completely disables GPU Preview

    Illustrator Version: 25.2.1

    Mac OS: 11.2.3 Big Sur
    MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)
    CPU: 2.3GH-z 8-Core i9
    Memory 664 GB 2667MHz DDR4
    Graphics: AMD Radeon Pro 5600M 8GB

    Displays: 2x LG UN850 4K Displays (Connected via Thunderbolt) + Built in MBP Display


    Reproduce steps:

    Restart Machine
    Launch Illustrator upon startup
    Create New Blank Document
    Press Cmd+R to enable Rulers
    Click "view" under main menu and see "View Using GPU" grayed out

    Did not have this issue with prior versions of Illustrator or Mac OS


    Temporary Fix:

    Save file with rulers hidden
    Re-Open document
    Should default to having GPU on

    Thanks for reporting this issue, but as we are unable to reproduce the same inhouse, we would need some more information 


    • Please share the details of the Ai version (desktop) you are using.
    • If possible , it would be helpful for us to reproduce the issue if you could share the files with which you constantly face the issue.
    • Please share system details and GPU details for the machine you are using.

  3. Working really slow

    I am working on AMD Threadripper 1950x with 16cores and 32gb DDR4 ram...
    Illustrator still working really slow and laggy.
    When I make a multiple select some objects and deselecting, its stuck on that process. Sometimes, filling all objects with single colors after deselecting. really terrible... Even I close GPU accelerator it doesn't help

    1. Is it happening in all files or only complex files? Would it be possible for you to share the file in which you are facing this issue?
    2. Can you please share the video of the problem?
    3. On which version of Illustrator and OS are you working?

  5. Transform Tool

    Entering a number in X then hitting tab to Y and typing in the number is jogging to another number and not applying the number I typed. I have to wait a couple seconds then type in the number for Y. This worked fine two versions ago.

    1.Kindly please provide us your preferences settings
    2. Steps to collect Preference Settings
    For Win: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 25 Settings
    Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe Illustrator 25 Settings
    3. Copy the Adobe Illustrator 25 Settings and share with us in a zip file on ShareWithAI@adobe.com .

  6. Illustrator CC is in Overprint mode super slow

    Dear User Voice Team,

    While working in overprint view , Illustrator slows down and starts freezing

    Im working on:
    HP Z440
    Intel Xeon E5 1620 v4 @ 3.50 GHz
    64 GB DDR4
    NVIDIA Quadro P4000 - 8192 MB
    Windows 10 Pro - 64 bit

    We have 2 other computers with specifications below, which work perfectly fine :

    1) Asus ROG G75 VW
    Windows 10 Pro - 64 bit
    Intel® Core™ i7 3610QM
    16 GB - DDR3 1600 MHz SDRAM
    NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 670M with 3GB GDDR5
    Illustrator CC 2018

    2) iMac (27-inch, late 2013)
    macOS High Sierra - Version 10.13.6…

    1. Are you still getting this issue on latest version of Illustrator?

  7. Adobe Illustrator 2020 (24.1.2)-The latest updated version KEEPS CRASHING on MacOS Mojave

    Hi
    I'm having crashing issues with the simplest movements like dragging, changing the type sizes, accidentally double-clicking etc.
    First the screen freezes.
    Later everything goes blank/my screen sometimes goes full black and forced shutdown follows.
    I'm using Macbook Air - MacOs Mojave version 10.14.6. (1.6 GHz Intel Core i5/ 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3).
    This is happening every time I open up AI without exception.
    Note: When I started my computer in safe mode-AI is working normally.
    What should we do?

  8. Window tabs in illustrator glitch can't navigate

    I've lost the ability to navigate and manage my tabs in illustrator on MacOS High Sierra 10.13.3. Multiple restarts of my computer have not solved this, please fix this super frustrating glitch!

  9. AiRobin using 16-24% CPU constantly

    Every time Illustrator is opened (and sometimes after it is closed) AIRobin uses cpu constantly even when no files are opened.

    1. OS: Windows 10 Pro ver:2004 build:19041.1165
    2. Illustrator Beta 26.0.667
    3. steps to reproduce are above
    4. my expected result is for it to only use CPU when a task is needed
    5. this description should be more than adequate.

  11. Illustrator 25.3.1 Increase Text with Shift Option Broken

    When I hold down shift and option key to expand text it won't enlarge the text.
    Not sure what I am doing wrong or if this is a bug. Would be super helpful if your team were to fix this issue if it were a bug.

  12. Create new file dialog box lags

    When I'm working with multiple files, opening and closing, there are times where I copy an object to a new file. I use Command-N, but the dialog box lags and takes several seconds to show up. Is it trying to connect to something online? Why is there lag?

    i am not able to reproduce the issue at my end. Can you please share the following information:

    1. Which OS you are working on?
    2. What is the version of AI?
    3. Have you stared facing this issue recently?
    4. If you are using some other Adobe application, Is it happening in that application as well?

  13. Crash while setting up Action

    Illustrator crashes every-time I try to set up a new action. I am trying to create a shade effect of a "sticker" but doing the following:
    - Take outline vector (which is white path)
    - Duplicate
    - Switch to fill
    - Change color to black
    - Apply Shear at 20 degrees
    - Edit opacity to 20%
    - Crash

    Just curious as to why this happening. Possibly due to my file size? 162.5 MB

  14. Illustrator doesn't open

    I simply can't open Illustrator anymore. The screenshot below shows how Illustrator appears when it's open. I can only see the top bar, none of the actual interface. I'm working on MacOS Mojave Version 10c.14.1 Illustrator version 23.01

    I even tried uninstalling and installing it again but nothing changed.
