Changing the order of objects does not get rendered
Layer stacks change not applied on different window (v24.0.2).
On different window, the change of the object stacks (Ctrl + ] or [) doesn't seem to apply. Every time I change the order of the object, I have to close the window on the other and open it and place it again. This is so frustrating.1 vote -

Multiple Users Open Same File and Overwrite Work
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro
When I have a file open, my coworker can open the file and does not get notified that the file is already opened or locked. He can work in the file and save, and it overwrites my version. Then when I go to save, I get notified that the file was 'modified outside of Illustrator, do I want to continue?" If you click yes, it overwrites his work and his work is lost. Is this a bug that it does not indicate that the file is already open by another user?1 vote -
Can't save .ai file, Illustrator crashes
When I try to save my .ai file, I get the error: "Illustrator is unable to save this document due to some unexpected errors." When I try to save a second time after this message, Illustrator crashes.

Unwanted emails from Adobe
Why am I getting spammed twice a day with 20-60 illustrator bug messages.? My company quarantines these unwanted messages. I get nothing out of them and I cannot turn them off.

Illustrator only showing one of 3 previously opened docs after crash and no tmp-files - total loss of many hours of work.
Well, well well. So Illustrator crashed (stupid me did believe adobe saying it was more stable after the update some days ago) and after killing via task manager and re-opening it only did show one of the three opened documents. Unfortunately it was only one file I needed to copy and paste an element from and it was not important.
The file I was working on originated in an One Drive folder. Maybe there´s the issue. There should have been any temp-file somewhere, though.
Autosave is on and saving every 2 minutes, default.

Please Make Adobe App shortcuts compatible with Security/Adware/Antivirus software
I suddenly was seeing the "Space Bar Won't enable Hand Tool" problem that's been a plague for years. A few weeks ago, I installed AdGuard for Safari and Mac. I've been happy with it's ad blocking - but this was the culprit for the problem of the Space Bar not invoking the Hand Too, AND for Command+Space not invoking zoom. I've turned off the helpful ad blocker, and I can use my Adobe Apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign were all affected).

Update didn't update Recovery folder location resulting in data loss
I just lost a bunch of work because Illustrator hadn't updated the DataRecovery folder location when it upgraded. When I went to preferences, the location was set to a non-existent folder which had been the default location for a version 23 but had been removed by the update to version 24. This is a huge oversight and needs to be corrected. To be clear, I had not set this location manually, although I have now set the location to the default folder for version 24 (which did exist, but no files). Math in Picas is Using Points not Picas
Document units set to picas. In width or height box on tool bar, enter "-3" and it subtracts 3 points. I expect — as it has done since time and eternity — to subtract 3 picas. The number should be the whole version of the document units, not a fraction thereof.

Application became 'zoomed in' on 2 monitors setup
Application became 'zoomed in' – the whole interface looks bigger. Using on 2nd monitor with Wacom tablet.

App freezes or doesn’t render artboard if second monitor gets unplugged
Both Ps and Ai malfunction when using a second monitor.
Problem: when either application is open and I shut off, unplug 2nd monitor or close laptop with 2nd monitor still plugged in, the next time I am in either app the files I have open are frozen. Or when I open a new file there is no artboard shown.

Custoimised Brush stroke doesn't show
Using surface pen and customised brush doesn't show strokes until I let go off the pen or mouse. It only appears as red lines. Please fix it!

Performance and delay on Illustrator 2020&2019 - iMac 5k 2019 with Pro Vega 48
Here is the video where I compare performance issue with other graphic software and desktop CP with Illustrator 2020 on the iMac 2019. Fps is drop when moving canvas by hand tool and when you want to resize simple vector shape you see on screen and feel some kind of latency, delay (watch carefully the video below).
