An error occurred while saving the comment AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Unlike the 'sticky settings' problem for the wand, this one is less popular.
An existing workaround is
1. Select > All on Active Artboard
2. Select > Inverse
3. Object > Lock > Selection
and then try to work with the Wand on the active artboard...
Sure it’s not perfect, and the request is valid. But 3 votes is rarely enough to promote a request. -

An error occurred while saving the comment All the time, Jakub. It’s just so many things to fix in Ai :(
AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment K-O, there are some discussions held about giving more fields a sticky behavior, including Magic Wand. This does not mean specifically it’s going to happen soon, but at least this train is finally departing. The team is at least aware of this now!
25 votes is a sum of unique voices for all three requests merged — it means same users voted for all three.
Until the status of this request changes to 'Under Review' or anything similar, we all should wait (again) and hope (still). Thanks for the head up.
BTW, if you notice some other requests that can benefit from being merge, don’t hesitate to comment. Many similar entries get merged daily, but there are plenty of them left. I read all new comments as soon as they pop.
An error occurred while saving the comment Brillant. Uservoice thinks that ********* is a restricted word.

An error occurred while saving the comment There is no way to create a graphic style with a script. There should be.

An error occurred while saving the comment There are multiple solutions to this.
1. Native Repeat: Object > Repeat > Grid
2. Native Transform effect: Effect > Distort & Transform > Transform (applied twice, first to produce horizontal copies, then vertical ones, or vice versa)
3. Gridder extension / script: http://www.extensions.ladyginpro.ru/Griddder_v1.0.7.zip or https://github.com/alexander-ladygin/illustrator-scripts/blob/master/griddder.jsx
4. Arranger extension: https://exchange.adobe.com/apps/cc/100201/arranger
There definitely were others, but I can’t remember them at the moment.
What is important for you to have, which all these don’t have? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Still would like to understand the problem. Perhaps it just hid the problem.
Does it revert back to the undashed look when you move it back?An error occurred while saving the comment Can you please share the test file? With only these lines in it, nothing else.
And I’d certainly check if the dash value Ai offers when you enable the Dashed Line option is not extra large and the same for both lines... However, I am sure they are the same and it’s something more interesting than this, so you better check the Appearance panel as well. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Ruchita, can you please record a short video or a GIF that demonstrates the problem (you can use free LICEcap or GIFcam for that), and share the test file that has the shape you created?
If you still have Actions’ slots for F-keys, you can speed the process up a bit more. I uses these for other things though.
As for the feedback — the team is really reading UV and makes their decisions based on it. Not directly and straightforward, but as one of major sources of feedback.
