Can't copy paste between tabs using the keyboard shortcut
I've found lately that copy pasting content from one open document to another doesn't work when using the Ctrl-V shortcut. Manually selecting Edit->Paste from the menu seems to work as a workaround.
I'm using Illustrator 28.7.1 64-bit on Windows 10 21H2

Kevin, interesting... Well, perhaps this app has some settings you can tweak to make it stop stealing the clipboard or hotkeys?
Are you sure the issue does not happen if you have the app shut off? -

Hi Egor, it looks like the culprit is the tray icon for the NVidia Geforce Experience app and the NVidia Control Panel app. The issue came back, and then I quit the tray icon app and restarted Illustrator again which fixed the issue. Seems like it's only an issue if the icon was active since the last reboot, if I restart that app, the issue does not come back.

If you ever discover what was stealing the keys, please comment back.
I am leaving this open until then. -

@Egor: No, I haven't installed anything recently, but I will take a look around my system and make sure.
EDIT: After quitting a few apps, and then restarting illustrator, the issue seems resolved, so it looks like it is something on my system, thank you!

Kevin, do you have any clipboard managers installed or browser extensions that can deal with text potentially?
