An error occurred while saving the comment When I drag existing ellipse or any path with a 'Show center' ON, I expect to land it's center to a certain place.
But AI doesn't show it, only edges.
Same happens in Outline mode.
Please make center visible while dragging. And please, if you ever make artwork fully visible while dragging (like Xara can), make an option to disable it. I learnt to make use of skeleton dragging and I want to have an option to keep it, whenever I want.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our release – 23.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!
AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Hello, Ankit and others.
I have almost the same description, but different recording.
It shows how I try to change font name from HeliosCondBlackC to HeliosBlackC (both are installed) but when I try to select or erase part of this name, CC2018 moves cursor to the end.
I also have 'Entire Font name' option chosen (and never change it), but cursor still jumps to the end.
I can't attach it here, so I have to report it as a new bug.AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) shared this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Same bug happened again!
If object is selected, AI doesn't allow to select another layer and instantly switches back to layer where the selected art is located.
It also somehow related with wrong sizes, when AI starts to show same sizes for EVERY object with different ones.An error occurred while saving the comment Not 'somehow', yes. I have to cut everything, check 'Paste remembers layers' and move my art into new document to get rid of it.
