An error occurred while saving the comment While I find this idea interesting and vote for it, I must notice that it will break workflow for those who already use Numpad as is. So initially all commands would have to be duplicated.

Select two point to rotate an object so these point will be lying on a horizontal line.An error occurred while saving the comment There are some ways to do it, with limitations.
You might want to try Quick Orient tool from AstuteGraphics plugin pack, or scripts, like the http://vectorboom.com/load/freebies/freescripts/how_to_reset_text_objects_and_bitmap_images_to_horizontal_position_in_illustrator/22-1-0-368 (for text and images), or rare Horizoner script ↑

An error occurred while saving the comment Oh, Lewis, I see. Having a fix is good, but a value in UI is better, don’t you think? :)

An error occurred while saving the comment You want recursive patterns, am I right?
Will it suffice if it would get auto-expnaded, as brushes do, when you create a brush from a brushed object?
Or do you want the original pattern to stay live in that second pattern? -

An error occurred while saving the comment I agree the name of the option is kind of misleading, but this is how it works. With that option on, Ai ignores the fill and tries to select instead of move when you click the fill. You can’t drag without clicking, right?
But why do you want to NOT SELECT with a fill click, but MOVE with clicking the fill, Jean Carlos? What workflow do you have?

How do you resize the rectangle exactly? Can you show it, please? -

Discover panel now highlights the location for all commands you search for with it. Call it with Help > Illustrator Help or with F1 hotkey.
An error occurred while saving the comment Discover is now in Illustrator Beta and soon will be released.
You can try it and leave feedback here at forums (https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/935607-illustrator-features-coming-soon/suggestions/43456284-new-improved-search-discover-coming-to-illustrat),
Ai Prerelease Slack Community (https://join.slack.com/t/adobe-ai-prerelease/shared_invite/zt-kpioajes-aweaAFCMLQSF7ZXeNo2Mag),
on Twitter, or basically anywhere Adobe staff can see it.In Beta, press F1 to call Discover panel, start typing and hover the cursor over results to see where founds commands are located.
Discover is coming across all Adobe apps.

An error occurred while saving the comment Yes, it is possible.
Go to Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts... and choose Menu commands from a dropdown.
Expand the tree to File > Export > Export as and assign a hotkey you want (I use Ctrl+E) -

An error occurred while saving the comment Drew, have you tried Version History panel?
It allows to see different versions of a cloud document, pick and pin versions...
I believe that it must be supported on OS level... but I will check
