Adobe. Make It an Experience.
Please share your thoughts on the following:
1. Would it make sense to have a separate desktop app, just to create charts, and bring them inside Illustrator or InDesign? It may not be on cloud.
2. Or would you rather have us work on building it within Illustrator?
The Dimension Tool is now live with 22.214.171.124 version of Illustrator.
This is just a beginning of it and the team is going to improve it further.
The intention is not to replace the existing specialized plugins completely, but to give a robust and integrated way for the majority of users to create dimensions.
Please make new requests and upvote existing ones, report bugs if you find them — all these are monitored and really help to shape the experience. Happy dimensioning!

Illustrator (and Adobe apps) lacks a true symmetrical node control (like Corel or other software).
It would also be useful to have more control and more precise on points, handles and curves.
Now there are many tools, but they are not harmonized well together.
Only to try to create symmetrical handles it is necessary to use the "scale" tool, which cmq does not allow you to align accurately.
Currently, third-party plugins are required for features that should be included in a product such as Illustrator.
For the realization of logos or images that require precision or symmetry, I am often forced to use other software.
