You can save documents to cloud in new versions of Illustrator

Please share your thoughts on the following:
1. Would it make sense to have a separate desktop app, just to create charts, and bring them inside Illustrator or InDesign? It may not be on cloud.
2. Or would you rather have us work on building it within Illustrator?
Thanks

I think you REALLY need to re-write the graphing tool in illustrator. You have a lot of illustrator users who create graphs and information graphics using illustrator. Why hasn't it been updated in years? It needs up to date charting features and a better interface. Users shouldn't have to pay out for another plugin such as datylon to get the job done!

We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3
You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.

Support for multiple cores is essential for illustrator. There isn’t any point in having a fast multi core machine if the software can’t use it. The downside is after using Affinity designer - which is a great piece of software I still have to supply my clients with illustrator files which it can’t produce. EPS or SVG don’t translate very well to be usable. I’m hoping that Adobe will take the multi core issue seriously and when they have to create a re-write for Mac silicon build this in as standard. I won’t hold my breath though.
