  1. Relative Links for Co-Working - Cloud Storage - Home Office

    Relative links are absolutely essential for collaborating on common projects in an agency.

    It's so annoying to work together on a project. When my collaborator starts an Illustrator file and I want to work on it, all links are broken, vice versa the same and the cycle never ends. Sometimes I don't even know what folder some linked files are stored in, so it's impossible to continue his work without his help!

    Everyone who works together on bigger projects has this problem, especially in times of home office.

    I figured the Creative Cloud wasn't just meant to be a backup…

  2. Please return the option to export .dxfs in R13/LT95 version

    Please return the option to export .dxfs in R13/LT95 version. This was removed in the 2021 versions of Illustrator and some users need this export option as it is critical in the design and workflow for people who vut and etch with cnc lasers.

  3. Add Embroidery Digitizing Features

    Please add the ability to do embroidery digitizing within this program; including the ability to export in the most common embroidery file types. If not, a standalone program added to Creative Cloud would be greatly appreciated. This would be especially useful on Macs, because there aren't as many software programs that specialize in digitizing as there are on PC.

  5. XMP Meta Data、MM:Historyの機能改善

    現在、IllustratorではXMPメタデータ上のHistoryの記述が最大で２個となっていて、初回保存時に１つ目、別名で保存時に２つ目が記述され、以降、別名で保存によるファイル派生が生じた時に２つ目のHistoryが更新される仕様になっています。
    Photoshopでは、このHistoryの項目に保存履歴だけではなくconvertやderived等の主要な編集イベントの情報も記述されます。InDesignにおいても保存イベントは詳細に記述され履歴の確認が可能になっています。
    Illustratorにおいても、もう少し細かく履歴情報の記述を行っていただきたい。

  6. Allow SharePoint Online functionality

    Provide the same functionality as in Adobe DC Pro to add a SharePoint Site to Illustrator to open and edit documents directly online without having to download and not to use OneDrive.

  8. Security settings for PDF Authoring

    Even though I have a preset when saving my PDF from Illustrator, the security settings never save. Often I have to send out files to people who I must have files locked. But every time I save a pdf I have to type in the same password and change the settings under security. Please let the preset save security settings.

  9. Export Selected Artboards

    Instead of having to note all the artboard ID numbers, it would be nice to select the artboards needed (with Artboard Tool on canvas or in panel) then Export Selected for Screens, or Export As, to have these selected arboards automatically chosen.

  10. Export slices as HTML

    I have always used illustrator and photoshop to work in for websites. I then normally open in Dreamweaver and finish the job off. Why can I no longer use the slices I have created in illustrator to create my initial html template... I don't seem to be able to export any more.

  11. ( Export for Screens ) more file format support

    Add more file formats + CMYK ability to export for screens.

    Here's an example for a customer that wants multiple logos with multiple taglines for multiple usecases. (check attachment)

    Am i supposed to manually generate 200 files in the future?

  12. データをEPS形式で保存する際に、上書き保存になるようにしてほしい

    今までは、作業データをEPS形式で保存する際に、指定した場所に同名のファイルがあれば上書き保存できていたが、現在は、指定したファイル名の末尾に「_01」等が勝手に付け加えられ、別名保存になってしまう。これまでの方法で上書き保存できるようにしてほしい。

  13. PNG options, add resolution 96dpi

    I believe we first had the resolutions 72, 150 and 300 in the PNG options dialog. Now I see 4, 18 and 36 have been added. A frequently used resolution that is missing is 96dpi. Please add.

  14. Adjust Artboard to image

    When opening a pixel image in Ai (to add vector details), Ai does not set the Artboard size to the boundaries of the image. Would be nice when it does.

  16. When exporting the saving dialogue doesn't take you to the source location

    When exporting, the saving dialogue doesn't take you to the source location which used to be the case. It takes you to Downloads instead which is not convenient for file organization.

  17. Allow me to change filename and file size dimensions with "Export as..." option

    I can no longer save my file with it's filename when exporting an artboard for client review. I would like to be able to have control over the naming of the file and the dimensions I export to (especially when building out billboard art files). If there was an option that showed file size and dimensions like in the previous "Save to Web" that would be optimal

  18. Customize Export Formats

    I use only two export formats on a regular basis. It would be nice if could disable the formats I don't use. It is cumbersome to have to scroll through all the formats every time I use them. In older AI versions, each format was like a plug-in file that could be removed if not being used. It would also be nice if individual formats could be assigned keyboard shortcuts.

  19. Views haven't updated in a while

  20. Export with Grid

    I tried to search for how to export a document with the grid visible and found some results in Google, but couldn't apply any of them. Over an hour chatting with a Help Agent, I was told it can't be done. Why wouldn't there be an option to export/print with the grid on?
    I've been learning how to do Floor Plans using Illustrator (since I already have Creative Cloud) and got reprimanded for handing in an assignment without a grid...imagine my frustration that it's not even an option AND that it took over an HOUR of chatting with someone to…
