Support for More Keyboard Shortcut Modifiers
I want to map shortcuts using the option/alt modifier key. Illustrator won't let me do this natively, nor through macOS's Keyboard system preferences. Please consider changing this.

An ability to copy/paste appearance attributes / styles
I would LOVE to be able to copy appearance attributes!

Better anti-aliasing
Long time ago I abandoned Xara and moved to Illustrator full-time.
I managed to solve all problems I had encountered with, but several things still bug me.One of them is this:

Zara puts more shades of gray to show the slope of test line, while AI leaves more uniformly filled areas. It gets more noticeable when angle gets sharper.
Changing anti-alising options doesn't help.Please, make anti-aliasing better.

Need to modify illustrator script to either ignore window os version or allow to remove that check from the Illustrator install script.

Complaint
Illustrator 2019 23.0.1. sucks. I have been using adobe tools for over 20 years and this is the worst update you have ever released. Not only does it take forever to open any app including InDesign, PS, ILL and acrobat, but then it constantly freezes. I can't get any work done. You keep raising the price of the subscription, but your updates cost me more in time troubleshooting than anything else. The very basic grouping and selecting a group doesn't work in the new illustrator, I am using the most up to date OS on a 2 year old iMac.…

Circles in Illustrator are not accurate
The circles in Illustrator are flawed and here's why.
I discovered a major bug in Illustrator CC. The circles in Illustrator are not accurate. This is the case regardless of whether you use the ellipse tool or the arc tool. Make a circle. Check the dimensions to make sure it's accurate. Draw a radius line at 0º. Copy it 3 times and rotate the copies 90º,180º and 270º. Make ImageTrace Like CS5 LiveTrace
ImageTrace may use less points but it completely gets rid of any ink bleed when tracing inked line art. The ink bleed was achievable with CS5 Live Trace but once ImageTrace was introduced it's not possible to achieve with any setting.
Please make ImageTrace great again, it was great as CS5 LiveTrace. Unbeatable. At least make CS5 available through Adobe CC subscription if nothing else.
I know I'm not the only one, please upvote if you feel the same way and miss the accuracy of CS5 LiveTrace.

Ability to use separate graphic styles on strokes versus fills
the title basically says it all.
i would like to apply a graphic style to an object's stroke, and apply a separate graphic style, or more likely no style to that object's fill. this way i can alter the stroke of many objects at once, without altering their fill color.
typically i have illustrations with 100s of groups each consisting of 100s of faces with the same stroke style, but different fill colors. in the course of design, i need to tweak the stroke color and weight to get the right look, but it's extremely tedious to have to click…

Width tool feature
Hi
As you can see from the file the split in the lower right corner is much bigger than the rest. And I was told that that is because AI treats the starting point of an object different. This makes it difficult to make symmetrict shapes without a lot of extra work.
Therefor I was hoping this was something You could do something about in a future update

Not signing in each time network connection changes
You know how when you switch your laptop from wired connection to wireless because as a normal human being with a laptop on the go, you will come across that. It would be great if you didn't have to sign in again and again.
So the idea is that, every time a user is forced to sign in again for no good reason, the person who suggested the idea and the manager(s) who approved it get smacked on the head by a robotic arm. Doesn't have to be painful, just a reminder of the sheer stupidity they came up with.

Bounding box not visible / non-existent for Graphs
The bounding box is non-existent for graphs drawn in illustrator. Have tried turning on/off "hide edges" under view, restarting, shutting down, but nothing is working. Scaling tool is useless too as the bounding box remains invisible.
32 votesScaling of GRAPH object using bounding box or transform panel is not allowed in earlier versions also.
Therefore I am moving the thread to Feature Request.Workaround: Using the menu Object >> Transform the Graph object can be transformed.

Allow calligraphic strokes for default fill/stroke
I regularly use a calligraphic stroke in my work. It would be good if a calligraphic stroke could be applied to the default fill/stroke settings via the Graphic Styles panel. This would save a lot of time in my daily workflow.

WHY ARE YOUR COLOR MODE SETTINGS SEPARATE BUT CALLED THE SAME?
SO YEAH, THERE IS A SEPARATE COLOR MODE IN THE DOCUMENT COLOR MODE.....SEPARATE AND DIFFERENT FROM THE COLOR MODE IN THE COLOR WINDOW.
WHAT PURPOSE THIS DESIGN CHOICE WOULD SERVE, IS BEYOND ME.
WHAT DOES THAT ACTUALLY DO? WHY WHY WHY WOULD ADOBE MAKE IT SO CHANGING YOUR DOCUMENT COLOR MODE IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FUNCTION THEN CHANGING THE COLOR MODE IN THE "COLOR," WINDOW?
