1. サブレイヤー

   お世話になります。
   いつも仕事で使わせていただいております。

   先日、複雑なデータをグループ化した際、あったものが消えてなくなるという不具合が発生し、危うくミスになるところでした。
   調べたところ、サブレイヤーが使われており、グループ化することによりオブジェクトが最背面へ移動し、なくなってしまったということが分かりました。現在は、どうしてもグループ化しなくてはならないときは「レイヤーを統合」してグループ化するなどして対策していますが、ネット上でも不具合として話題になっているようなので、グループ化する、マスクをかける、などによりあったものがなくなってしまうようなとき（重なり順が変わる時）にはアラートでお知らせいただければこのような事故が減るしありがたいな、と思いました。

2. App icons

   Can you please update the icons for your apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.) to a new design and color scheme? I do NOT like the same colors for the icons that 2020/2021 versions use. I'm forced to find replacement icons for your apps. At least include some alternative icons for your products.

   You can restore all warning dialogs with Preferences > General: Reset All Warning Dialogs command

5. Embed locked photos + objects ( without unlocking them first )

   Currently, we must unlock an image before embedding it. An example workflow where this in inconvenient is if I am preparing a doc for sharing and I would like to embed all images in a file for convenience. Or perhaps I have many small linked files that I want to embed for ease, like a complex illustration with many bitmaps.
   Currently I do this:
   1/I select all images in my links palette.
   2/ click embed
   3/ receive alert that AI won't embed any locked images. (either I prefer them locked or I locked and forgot)
   4/ I unlock all images.
   5/ Again, select the images in the palette and embed.
   6/ If I preferred speific items locked, I must then laboriously re-lock them.

   The current action doesnt seem to serve any purpose. I have never wanted locked images to be protected from the embed function.

   FYI: Illustrator performance and multi-core use far far far outweigh this.

6. Few Additional Features

   Fill & Stroke Color Picker Dialogue with Single Click.
   Fill and Stroke should bring its Color Picker Dialogue with a Single Click on it, which one is active we would just click and bring its Dialogue.

   Layers Panel.
   Holding or pressing the Control key and clicking on a new layer icon in Photoshop to creates a new layer below all the layers if no layer is selected, if a layer is selected then you do the same action will create a new layer below the selected layer which really makes sense.
   The same thing would be very comfortable in Illustrator if that feature would be added in the Layers and Appearance Panel.

   Right-Click Menu on Objects.
   There should be Global Edit, Copy and Paste are the basic features, common and essential which are missing since the beginning.

   Start Global Edit.
   Start Global Editing feature can be adjusted in the Magic Wand tool's Menu/Dialogue and in the Control Bar, if Properties Panel would be converted into Tool's Properties Panel then it should show the Tool’s (Active’s) Properties there.

9. ADD "Relink to Folder..." to the Links panel as in InDesign

   We have long kept an asset folder named The__PIT that has 1 copy of every file that has ever made it through Production so that if we bring up an InDesign IDML or INDD from any time in our history, ALL links are immediately restored using "Relink to Folder...". We need this same functionality with Illustrator. I understand that InDesign is a data based software and Illustrator is not. I also see that Illustrator does retain the file name though (which, as is noted in many other similar requests, does nothing as far as selecting a match within a CC Library)... Anyhow, isn't this enough info already to incorporate a one at a time "Relink to folder..." task? Definitely faster than relinking one at a time through a chooser. And still could be done all at once with a delimited internal array of multiple selected file names.

   ThePIT has been one of my favorite additions to our workflow. It keeps duplication to a minimum (asset either filed or in ThePIT), repopulates assets whether the indd is from 2009 or 2020, and it allows us to archive all our indd's as idml's which are like 20x smaller & we never have to worry about relinking thanks to "Relink to Folder..." & The__PIT!

   Illustrator layouts are becoming more popular at our agency and to have this functionality added to Illustrator would greatly improve efficiency, get all team members to adopt the same workflow, and free up tons of space compared to dev that is package based.

   Our agency isn't large enough and doesn't have enough free people time to merit a full Adobe DAM solution. We are small & nimble AND outputting 5x the content we were capable of 5 years ago with the same number of staff, thanks in part to The_PIT and some other scripts and procedures I've implemented.

   My agency closely guards the workflow methods I've enacted as they give us a clear advantage over other agencies. Our clients say as much.

   Diminishing the gap in cross functionality between Adobe applications is crucial. The same features will never equate to the same usage. The Adobe apps are differentiated as much by personal preference, if not more, than anything else. It's only when a project in an app can't do something that's possible in another & moving the elements to the other app doesn't help either that the software shows its weakness. You can't copy and paste or drag and drop a placed graphic with a broken link from Illustrator to InDesign and retain a link that could be resolved by "Relink to Folder..." You can't do "Relink to Folder..." in Illustrator. There's no efficient resolution.

   As to why I wouldn't just select "Relink..." and browse The__PIT...
   That folder has thousands of files in it, it takes a seriously long time for the files to display in Finder. And sometimes, either by fault of OSX or Adobe's browse, the files don't display at all. You get the same result in InDesign if you try "Relink..." BUT with "Relink to Folder..." it's nearly instant. Even a document with more than 100 images. I guess it's the difference between Browse and relink compared to the data action of "GET in this folder, the file named this" which happens with "Relink to Folder..."

11. Please update your troubleshooting/fix instruction for the bg "The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [CANT]".

    Effect - > 3D -> Extrude & Bevel...

    Following all the Adobe Support site instructions, the bug could not be solved. Even after uninstalled Illustrator and re-installed it, the issue persist.

    Environment:

    *MacOS Bug Sur: 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 & 16 GB(Memory) 3733 MHz LPDDR4X

    *Creative Cloud - Illustrator 2021

12. Commemoratively change 'Edit in Isolation Mode' to read 'Edit in SELF-isolation Mode'

    For a little (temporary) comic relief during the pandemic and also as a small commemoration to the difficulty and pressure many of us are feeling from living and working in lockdown.

    Perhaps also a nice way to remind each other that, albeit socially isolated, we're also connected through this crisis too.

    Also, does anyone else emember when illustrator included Easter Eggs like; show number of clicks?

    The only wayt to get the Puppet Warp tool is to upgrade at least to October 2017 version or newer. The tool is hidden in the Basic toolbox, and is located in Free Transform tool group in Advanced toolbox. Switch these in Window > Toolbars menu.

17. Switching tabs doesn’t show the correct image in High Sierra

    It’is absolutely impossible to work on Illustrator 2020. I have version 24.2, and there constantly switching tabs doesn’t work correctly. No matter what tab I've selected, I can only see 1 file. This happens randomly, and I have to restart the program to get the tabs to work properly again.

    By the way, this is also observed in Photoshop 2020.

    This bug is at least one year old. I don’t know how to fix it.

    P.S. These screenshots are not mine (I don’t know how to cause this bug). But I have exactly the same situation

20. Distribute objects doesn't work properly now

    Illustrator updated the other day (as did Photoshop and InDesign). When I select a group of objects to distribute evenly it changes the overall area to something much more narrow. I am now having to place each object by hand. Please fix.
