Workspace, toolbars, hotkeys settings, and preferences should be able to synchronize via Cloud
Sync and update workspaces in Creative Cloud so I don't have to create new workspaces when I'm switching between a laptop and desktop.

As if this isn't a feature! I'm currently on a hunt for my workspace files. They're impossible to find and all of the documentation on locating them seems to be incorrect.

I'm currently hunting around on my hard-drive, following a myriad of help pages and forum posts trying to find my custom workspaces, which I only need to do because Adobe software doesn't allow you to either upload to Creative Cloud libraries or export/import via the software.
I personally don't want to spend two hours re-building my workspaces across all the Adobe software every time I update...

As designers, we put a lot of effort into creating the perfect workspaces for apps like InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop... but every time I need to reinstall any of these apps, my workspaces aren't loaded and it was very difficult to find out where or if they were backed up somewhere so I didn't need to create them all over again. Can you please have a 'Save' option in the Workspaces dropdown so we know where we are saving the workspaces... so we can then choose where we'd like to back them up? Should be able to back up in CC cloud or our own computers.

Why we need to save the file of our workspaces when adobe is a cloud system?

Workspace syncing would be amazing! Please include this in a future update Adobe!

Yes, hard to believe this feature doesn't exist in 2020!!

You should bring back the synchronization feature https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/sync-settings.html

Whenever there is a major update to Illustrator, the settings are copied to the new version of Illustrator, but my scripts are not. I have to manually copy all my scripts to the new scripts folder. This would be an easy feature to implement.

I'm updating to the 2020 edition of Illustrator and it's not keeping my keyboard shortcuts. I install the new Photoshop and I have to hunt down all my old color swatch sets.
Maybe there can be an easier, more automated way to store and retrieve this data with use of the cloud.

I would also love to share my Workspaces that I created with my middle school students. It saves time to be able to do so.

I manage a company team account that all use Illustrator.
There is no easy way to sync or import the settings of Illustrator.
I want new team members to easily have the same actions, shortcuts, workspace, and scripts, but it takes me hours to work it out each time. -

Before it was possible to sync your settings on the cloud which made it possible to grab your settings when you are using the program on another computer. Adobe decided to disable this feature and therefore I now have to physically Export my settings.
What If I am on the road and want to sync the settings but my other computer is at home... There is now way for me to get these settings and I have to edit all my settings and workspaces manually.

What does the cloud give me that I couldn't get by, say, just downloading apps from the website?
It seems like a fair question to me because right now, besides CC libraries, the answer is /nothing much/!
Surely the ENTIRE POINT of a cloud based system is consistency accross instalations! Without that, it's just teasing.
So yeah... cloud-sync user profiles for a bespoke environment. Seems like a no-brainer to me. I've just re-installed illustrator and am freshly reminded just how many pre-sets, preferences, shortcuts etc. I've got to set up a-fresh, and can't quite believe Adobe haven't got round to looking at this yet :(

I love that we can export our keyboard shortcuts, but can't figure out why you'd include an export feature without an import feature. I hate having to go to each of my computers and manually tune the keyboard shortcuts to my workflow when the feature to either sync it with my other Creative Cloud settings or import it back in from the exported file should be implemented. It's a very basic, common sense feature.

Also across Mac and PC versions as well.

But yes, please Adobe, more cloud integrations for those of us who work on multiple machines and like to customize our UI. Gets annoying to constantly be putting palettes where I want them when I move machines.

They had this a few versions ago, but then removed it. No idea why. And I don't think it worked consistently across the Suite.

Yes, the entire user environment should be synced in creative cloud:
* preferences
* keyboard shortcuts
* actions
* scripts
* custom presets (templates, swatches, graphic styles, brushes, symbols, patterns)Adobe - there's half a dozen or so ideas shared for this same feature now, perhaps join then together?
