This is essential. And needs to be saved with the file. One client needs a certain set of sizes / names, another client needs different sizes. If it is saved with the file then I don't need to spend 20 minutes recreating the export for every new edit...

It could be great if we can save settings for future references. Next to iOS and Android we can add another tab for custom templates.

Yes please implement saving 'export for screen' settings. I need to re-enter the same information over and over again for hundreds of files. Also, being able to choose RGB or CMYK when exporting would be helpful. And the pdf option doesn't seem to export the individual artboards but exports the whole work space.

Can we please get the option to save "export-profiles" in the "save for screens"-dialogue. Its a major pain and a waste time rebuilding those for every purpose.

Yes I have custom Sizes that I regularly need to export, I would be very helpful to have that config setup so it could be chosen and used in an action.

Please, PLEASE implement "Save For Screens" export preset settings. I'm spending hours per week constantly re-entering the information.

This is really needed. I don't understand how Adobe can make this feature and it's so not thought through.

You should be able to:
1) Save presets and be able to share them in the cloud.
2) Mark multiple export settings (left mouse + shift/ctrl) and change fx all to another format at once. (JPG or PNG or something else)

Add, "Limit File Size To" option as well, like in Lightroom.

Export for Screens is seriously handicapped! Settings should be saved with the file, so you don't have to manually re-enter the settings every time you export. The world includes much more than Android and iOS (ever hear of Windows or Mac? or the idea that not everything that's being exported is for standard app usage?). It shouldn't be easy to accidentally export files to the wrong directory, like the directory from a completely different project or some weird default directory. And, because many different files do share settings (beyond iOS and Android) there really should be the ability to create additional templates.

In "export for screens" pop up there are only two format/size templates (Android and iOS), having an opportunity to create custom templates and assigning then to the selected artboards/assets would greatly improve the export experience.

Hi, I am having issue with Asset Export that Ai's files don't remember its settings. So everytime I work with export I have to again set the scale, size, file type and so on.

It would be nice if Ai projet keep Asset export settings.

My issue was merged into this one, but they are not the same thing. My issue refers to the Export for Screens dialogue, not Assets Exports.

Additionally, I don't think having custom presets is a very good solution for my problem. Each time I create a file it has a different export location, and tends to have different settings for PNG transparency and retina/non-retina. Having to create a new custom preset for every new file would be a hassle, and particularly so if the file does not remember the last preset it used. Would much rather just have the file remember all the export settings.

The idea of file specific export settings is different than custom presets. File Specific exporting settings keeps the settings the same for each file. Currently you need to reset your output location if you switch to a different file, because they are not saved. Presets on the other hand allow you to apply many settings quickly to a file, but they aren't necessarily changed on a file to file basis.

Would also be very helpful if when in artboard mode, you could toggle export/not export and have that setting save with the file, rather than having to select this in the Export for Screen dialogue.
