Background layer in layers panel.
My background is default white and I do not see an option to have a transparent artboard nor do I see where I can remove the white background layer.

Jump to the canvas area where Undo Redo happens
Tap (finger or pencil) UNDO or REDO banner/notification to jump to the undo/redo area. I.e. I want to see what I undo/redo when I have accidentally jumped art boards.
Without the screen real estate of a desktop or laptop, it can be easy to get lost in a smaller and easily rescalable (i.e. “quick pinch gesture” to jump to art board) workspace.

Improve accessibility on pen tool
Until the new iPad update 1.3, I loved drawing on my iPad. With the new update, everything that was great about the pencil tool is now gone.
Now I can't draw the same as before the update because it feels slack, too loose, way too free flow ... almost like it needs to be tightened up. I can't arch or make straight lines the same way I could before. As someone with a severe physical disability, I just need that wee bit of extra assistance to help out.
Please bring back whatever you did right before.

PDF export options (e.g crop marks and bleed)
This is one feature that would really help my workflow! Also the option to select different PDF formats e.g 2001 etc would help. Affinity offers this but in a really confusing format.

Allow printing from the iPad
Please allow for users to print directly from the iPad. Right now we have to save the file and then go to a desktop version to print the files out. This is highly inconvenient and most people design directly on the iPad due to the versatility of using tools like an Apple Pencil. So, please add in a printing option directly from the iPad.

EYEDROPPER SHORTCUT PLEASSEEEE (i) *just like desktop
Please please please give us a shortcut for eye dropper. I can’t fathom how this was overlooked. AI for iPad is virtually useless for me, and doubtless others, without it. Its nice to not be chained to my desktop for work.
99 votesWe released a new version today - 3.0.1 and we are now supporting eyedropper shortcut.

Magic Alignment (Text)
Spark’s Magic Align feature is great for certain text treatments. It would be great to adapt that feature for Illustrator as an added text alignment option.

I want to use the previous version of brush feeling again
I'm using an illustrator on my iPad.
I'm working with a blop brush.
Before the update, the brush tool was calibrated to make the lines smooth automatically, but after the update, it has not been smooth...Is there a way to set up the brush like before the update? If not, I would like to have a setup window where the brush calibration effect can be displayed as before the update.3 votes -

Font search by typing the name instead of scrolling through list
Let me search for fonts by typing, rather than scrolling through a long list. In the future it would also be great if I could have some filtering features (serif, sans, script etc…)
