Top menu bar
This iPad illustrator needs to have a top menu bar with drop downs like the desk top version. With file, edit,and most of the other drop downs. I am a self taught user and have been using the desktop version for 26 years. it is the main tool I use for graphics for my screen printing business. I feel like I need to relearn with this IPad version and I don’t want to relearn I am getting to old

Quick search bar to help find and navigate the system
I have been tying for hours to find the edit logo part of the app.
I am beginning to think that it’s not part of the iPad version. If it isn’t than it is just a waste of money. A quick search option would make things a lot easier with the app. Even after going through the tutorials it didn’t given e any information about this.3 votes -
Better Layers Panel
It’s just terrible how it works now.
When you select an Object it is marked blue, but only when its not within any Folder (expandable Object), you have to manually expand the „Folder“ to see the blue Mark.
This way you can’t find any selected Object until you expand the Folder its in. Any Project that has any kind of Folder or Cutpath becomes very fast a Nightmare to Navigate. And the solution would be so easy.Why can’t we move or select hidden layers within the panel. Why? Now I have to show the layer, manipulate it in any…

Mouse and keyboard skills (like a computer)
Hello.I have a suggestion for your next updates. I have been using vectonator etc on ipad for a while. I produce logos with alternative programs. But today I wanted to try the Adobe illustrator version for ipad. My first impression is good, except one thing. I use my iPad with the mouse and keyboard for both a computer and a drawing tablet. But in the iPad version of Adobe illustrator, unfortunately, there is no zoom in and out or dragging the page with the Mouse Scroll. Paragraph spacing
Allow for custom spacing between paragraphs as well as lines.

Apple Pencil double tap should swap between the Select tool and the most recently used tool
Similar to how other apps swap between the eraser and the most recent tool. This functionality would enable creating a shape, moving/resizing it, and then creating another one.

Export for Screen option, same as the desktop Ai has
Export for Screens option of the desktop to save different file formats in selected artboards. Having this feature on the iPad will be amazing

Save Confirmation
I have problem when i accidentally touch the back button, the canvas is automatically saved at the current progress, when we access the canvas again, changed progress we did before cannot be undo. My suggestion please make save confirmation, so we can cancel the back action when we accidentally press it, just like desktop version of AI. Thank you

moving vectors between illustrator ipad docs
i want a vector group from one of my illustrator on ipad docs to be brought to a different doc without having to redraw/remake the vector group. right now i can’t copy and paste from one doc to another. in the desktop illustrator you can drag vectors to different tabs/docs or copy and paste to different docs and i want to be able to have similar movement between documents on ipad.

fluid access of creative cloud docs between desktop and ipad
when making illustrator on ipad docs, i want to be able to go to my creative cloud on my desktop, have access to those same docs, click it and it launches the desktop illustrator (right now it makes me download my docs) and then the vectors are still able to be manipulated (right now they become an image and are not manipulatable)

Change the size of the drawing area by entering numbers
If you want to change the size of a drawing area afterwards, you should be able to enter the exact dimensions using the keyboard.
