Copy and paste formatting to text
Please add a very important abbreviation
It is paste formatting
(And copy the same text)
I suggest its shortcut is ctrl + shift + V
and
ctrl + shift + C copy shortcut
As in MS Word

Re-open "last save folder" when exporting files.
I would like Adobe to re-open last save folder where I just exported my adobe file on the next item I am saving.
Instead it always opens iCloud drive folder and and makes me navigate back to the folder I am saving my current projects to.
I dont need to set a specific folder to save items to as default.
I just need adobe to remember it and open it on my next save.Both illustrator and photoshop have this dumb issue.

Vectorize Now button to apply chosen options instead of live update
I would like to recommend adding a "vectorize now" button and only have something vectorized when I press that button. Right now, vectorizing occurs every time I change an option, which is very time consuming. Thank you!!

Align clipping groups to bounds of the mask, not clipped contents
Once I make a clipping mask I would like to align the masks and not the objects that are masked. I can not do that now because the aligh function works for the whole masked image

Make the blob brush feel like the desktop version of the blob brush.
The blob brush feels really sloppy on iPad. It should work exactly as it does on iPad. I experimented with all the different settings. Nothing made it feel or look anything like it does on desktop. This is the main thing keeping me from drawing on my iPad and instead still using clip studio. I like AI a lot more but the line work on my drawings are vital and the current form of the blob brush jus tisn’t it.

Use different units of measure when transforming object
When creating an object, I often need to resize it according to specification. In an AI project, I use different units of measure. Say, for instance, that the project has a default unit setting of ‘centimeters’. If I need to create a 7.5x3 inch object, I’d like to be able to type the unit in the width and height fields on the Properties-Transform panel. For example, I want to type height = 7.5 in. The “in” would replace the “cm” which automatically appears in the field.
This feature is has been available in Illustrator for Desktop app for quite a while.

Add a simple "In progress" indicator to the editing window.
Can you add a simple "In progress" indicator to the editing window?
A simple blinking object or something to show Illustrator-iPad is busy performing the last Instruction? I do realize doing running Illustrator on an iPad is quite a challenge to resource management, and every bit of processing power has to be managed well.
When working with complex objects, and Illustrator stops responding to instructions because the last instruction was very a big one, I sometimes wonder if Illustrator is just busy, or has frozen up. To find out I tried taping some other instruction … bad idea.
Illustrator usually remembers that last tap and performs the instruction as soon as the big process is finished, slowing things down.
So it would be useful if Illustrator indicated in some way that it was busy performing an instruction.

Deleting fonts
Being able to delete fonts you have uploaded yourself on the ipad and not having to do it through anything else or on your desktop by simply swiping left on the font.

Disappointed with Ai performance with simple graphics
Illustrator was the first software I learned. 1988-1992. Version 4.0? My Mac-daddy Mac Quadra had a 500mb HD and some blazing 128 MB RAM. Illustrator worked well. Cant you dust it off tweak some tools to run well on iPad Pro… Better to run well than frustrate; iPad chipset will catch up. Run the beautiful basics add more as you can. Very disappointed with Ai performance with simple graphics attached waiting to process moves, Mobile Bundle? Not even going to try photoshop. Cancelling in a month. Love to Adobe. Peace

zoom out with 2 fingers optional please
understandable that some users like the zoom out gesture with 2 fingers
for all other users - perhaps many - who find it very frustrating and unnecessary, can we please have this gesture as an option?
on average working 3h with iPad illustrator, even though I very much carefully avoid this gesture, at least 10-20 times in 3h, by total mistake I end up undoing the accidental zoom out, meaning having to zoom in and zoom in and zoom in then pan and pan and pan until I am again where I was before the accidental zoom out
this request means adding a setting in preferences and a call based on condition if the setting was on before zooming out
I am sure many will thank you eternally…

Import/place does not allow access to existing Illustrator (ipad) files. Argh.

Cropping Layers
I know that cropping images is not yet a feature either. However, I have been having a horrible time trying to crop a layer so that I can continue designs throughout.

Why not make drawing as convenient as in animate
I really like that in anime you can draw on one layer working with lines and filling as in Photoshop. Why is everything so complicated and mute in the illustrator?
