Magnify lense next to selected point when moving
When tracing with pen tool you usually tweak the points afterwards to align to picture. There would be way more precision and accuracy if there was a magnifying lense ( a box with a zoomed in version of selected point area) on the screen right next to the stylus that assists the point placement

Stock vectore should also be editable in ipad illustrator.
Hello, i am really excited about the ipad version of illustrator. The feature which i wanted to recommend is that stock vectors should also be editable in ipad just like in desktop version. Alot of artists use stock vectors in their work and their is a huge market out there for it. Ipad users should not be refrained from taking advantage of the stock vectors. I hope you consider my idea and add this feature in the next update. Thanks alot and have a good day. :-)

Open files directly from Dropbox
Hi! First of all its great to be part of this finally.
But now the important. It would be very nice if we could open .ai files directly from Dropbox etc. without having to saving it to Files etc. As you can see there is no option to open directly in Illustrator even though it’s .ai file.
And no way to allow it in settings as far as i know, so i reckon its matter of the app rather than the OS.Thanks!

Image Watermarks in Illustrator for iOS
I’m surprised that Lightroom for iPhone and iPad still does not have the capability to export with an image (PNG) watermark, but rather still just text, after all these years. How about creating a sync for watermarks from the Mac app via Creative Cloud?

Bi-color countour brush
I want to suggest to the Adobe Illustrator developers the creation of a brush that allows for precise adjustments of both the line width and the outline width in millimeters, and that, when lines intersect or overlap, it combines the elements and creates a continuous outline around them. This would allow you to create patches designs for milling machines.

Apple Pencil Pro - Shortcuts for Squeeze and double tap feature
Pretty simple and easy - Add the input feature of squeeze and double tap shortcuts for the Pencil Pro.
Please give us more options to route different shortcuts for faster workflow. Take a look at how 'Procreate' does this but do it better than them.1 vote -
Distort and transform
Transform objects complete with scale, move, and rotate functions. Allow for transform options for X and Y axis, randomization and copies of the input transformations. Will open more powerful opportunities for pattern and logo designing with repeating and unique motifs.

Add swedish language to illustrator iPad, please
I would really appreciate Swedish language support in Illustrator for iPad. Many creative professionals and students in Sweden use the app, and having it in our native language would make the workflow smoother and more accessible. Please consider adding Swedish in a future update.

Relinking images from the images on my iPad and not just from adobe cloud
I saved my files in the cloud and planned to continue on my iPad and I realized I forgot to embed the images. I tried relinking them and it was taking me to adobe cloud. I don’t save images on adobe cloud the images were a lot and I had them on my iPad files/gallery. It sucks that I couldn’t sort that.

初期テキストなしの状態で文字を開始したい。「このプロジェクトは」を毎回消さないといけないのは非常に効率が悪いです。文字カーソルだけ出るようにして欲しいです。

Please try and comment back if it helps.

Several proposals (buttons) for Artboards, Settings and Publish and Export
These are all ideas for better interaction to add to the right-hand panel. I think it should be more visible and accessible when working. Currently, they feel limited.
1)))) The Artboards button should be on the right, above the Layers button.
Justification: Artboards are a central component of the Illustrator workflow, as users often switch between them to organize complex projects. Currently, access to artboards is somewhat relegated (in the top bar or in secondary menus), which can disrupt the creative flow. Placing this button in the right-hand panel, above the Layers button, improves its visibility and accessibility, as the right panel is a constant area of interaction. Additionally, placing it above the Layers button reflects the natural hierarchy of the workflow: first, you select the artboard, then you manage the layers within it.
Benefit: Reduces the clicks needed to navigate between artboards, streamlines the organization process, and improves ergonomics by keeping key tools in one predictable place.
2)))) The Document Settings button should be on the right, above the Artboards button. And in this section, you should have direct access to changing: Name, Unit, Color settings, etc.
Justification: Document settings (such as name, units of measurement, or color mode) are critical settings that users frequently need to adjust, especially when starting a project or adapting it to different requirements (e.g., switching from RGB to CMYK for printing). Currently, these settings are buried in secondary menus, which can be frustrating. Placing a dedicated button in the right-hand panel, above Artboards, ensures these settings are accessible without interrupting the workflow. Including shortcuts to the name, unit, and color settings in this section optimizes real-time document customization.
Benefit: Simplifies initial setup and on-the-fly adjustments, especially for users working on projects with specific technical requirements (such as design for print or web).
3)))) I would also place the Publish and Export button on the right, and I think it should be able to quickly export in the following formats: AI, SVG, PDF, and PNG. These are the most popular formats in Illustrator.
Justification: Exporting is one of the most common final tasks in Illustrator, and AI, SVG, PDF, and PNG formats cover most use cases (editable files, vector graphics for the web, printable documents, and raster images for social media). Currently, the export process requires navigating through multiple menus, which can be tedious, especially for users who export frequently. A dedicated button in the right panel, with quick options for these formats, significantly reduces the time and effort required. Furthermore, the right panel is a logical place for this feature, as users already associate it with project management and completion tools.
Benefit: Streamlines the export process, improves efficiency for repetitive workflows, and meets the needs of professional users working with multiple formats.
These are all ideas for better interaction to add to the right-hand panel. I think it should be more visible and accessible when working. Currently, they feel limited.
