Hi Everyone,
This functionality is available in our latest release build – 27.6.1.
Hex code for the colors is visible in the Color and Swatch Option Panel. It will be visible for Global Colors as well. You can easily copy the Hex value by clicking on '#' icon before the code.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sandi commentedScale Proportionally issue - holding SHIFT will only work if I drag exactly on the 1:1 ratio line If I deviate from that exact line, while holding SHIFT, no scaling occurs. I have tried with real-time drawing turned off, GPU turned off, etc. etc. Still no good.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.0.0 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

Live preview of color is now live in Illustrator 27.1.1, for Color Picker dialog, Color panel, Properties and Control panel, and Appearance panel.
It works in GPU mode only.

This has been implemented in the latest version, 27.3.1
An error occurred while saving the comment Sandi commentedHow can we be a squeaky wheel for Transform Each and Transform Effects lock button - in a nice way? Please, pretty please, with sugar on top - can we have a link/lock button so we don't have to manually adjust both parameters every time?
It would save a HEAP of time when trying to get scaling to work just so, adjusting back and forth - but twice each time...

Saving custom presets is now available in BETA starting V28.6.578.
With this new change, you can now configure your own document preset and save it for later use. To access this functionality, configure your preset from the File > New dialog (only for the modern one, the legacy dialog don’t provide it) and click the Save Preset button next to the document’s name in the top right corner of the dialog.
Your custom preset is now saved and accessible from the 'Saved' category.
Please try out this feature, so that if there are any feedback from you, we can resolve them and make this feature available to everyone.
An error occurred while saving the comment Sandi commentedYes definitely. It seems like such a simple and essential feature I don't understand why it isn't already part of Illustrator.

@Rombout and @Hunter Cressal - I'm on the latest Illustrator version and can't see anything like in your screenshot image, or in the actual Properties Panel.
Showing the HEX value in the SWATCHES panel, not just in the colour picker is the aim of this feature request. It will save an extra step - or more when trying to match colours exactly.
