An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Can’t reproduce it... but I’m on Windows.
Does it happen for all the document, all the artboards, all the files you try?
If it’s not — can you share this problematic file? -

An error occurred while saving the comment So, was it working fine before you installed additional materials? Which are these?
When exactly does the crash happen, can you pinpoint the steps you make? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Ian, that’s not hinting, but the anti-aliasing method.
You can check it if you hover the mouse and wait to get the tooltip hint.
It doesn’t influence the hinting at all.If you wish to see the text as if it was outlined, but keep it live — apply Effect > Path > Outline Object to your type object.
I checked you claim and tested it with Ai CS6 (previous enough, I think — older versions didn't' have anti-aliasing control, unlike Photoshop).
Nope, ugly fonts with poor hinting don’t get better when another method gets chosen. You probably misremember that. Sorry! -

An error occurred while saving the comment This limitation applies not only to History panel, but to all panels in Illustrator.
Some panels can be bigger, some can be resized freely (like Swatches), some have rigid structure and don’t really scale at all (lie Properties).
But the global minimal size is common for all.I see the point, and I see no reason for History, Layers, Artboards, to be limited... well, actually I see one. Layers have many buttons at the very bottom, and rows there is not a thing, so it just won’t work to make Layers more narrow. History though has two now...
The icon request — this needs to be a separate request, please make it one.
If you have specific examples of how changes made can be represented with icons — feel free to show. -

An error occurred while saving the comment For the reference, it’s not the first time this problem is mentioned here:
1. 100% view is not 100% for pixels in cc2019: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/35736118
2. 100% size is actually actual size: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/33253402
3. Actual Size view menu does not display at actual size...: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/35743504
All three as of today marked as complete and resolved, but we all know they are not.
I will update the statuses and forward them all here. Please continue providing the specs to gather enough data to boost the investigation.
An error occurred while saving the comment Just for those who doesn’t know how Acrobat solves this, take a look at the image attached.
I don’t mean it’s perfect, since editing the value here does not give an immediate feedback to check, like drawing a line right there one can measure with a physical ruler applied directly to screen. But it’s better that a guess Ai makes, which doesn’t always work for all of us!An error occurred while saving the comment Marley, please give the team the full specs of the display you are using, along with the GPU and the driver version it uses, so they can reproduce it.

The behavior stopped after updating Illustrator.
If you experience something similar, please share details and upvote.
An error occurred while saving the comment When I see videos like this (or experience something similar myself) — I have a strong urge to punch something.
Thank you so much for sharing these. We need more evidence, all the time.
I have to change the status, but won’t make it Fixed or Resolved. An error occurred while saving the comment By 'windows' you mean additional viewports one can open with Window > New Window, correct?
Can you explain then the exact workflow you use, and what exactly happens in which order?
If you mean panels... well, still please explain. Screenshots are also very welcome. -

Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.
Thanks

An error occurred while saving the comment You mean when you click your already selected box with Type tool, it can accidentally start editing text in adjacent non-selected?
Can you explain in details what you offer and why? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Not sure if I get this correctly. Do you mean the same thing as that request is about?
Allow to see and edit colors in a selection, just like with Selection Colors in Figma: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/45211006 -

An error occurred while saving the comment Interesting... so if you move your files (just for a test) out of the synced folder(s) and then try to Package — it works?
What happens if you put these links into the root of the synced folder (just to exclude the subfolders case)?
If you have other cloud services — do they behave the same, or is it only OneDrive’s thing?
Can you reproduce it with a new file, or only this one is influenced?
These are the questions the team most probably will ask. Please help to speed up the investigation, while I try to search a correct contact for this.An error occurred while saving the comment Gabrielle, can you please show a screenshot of your Links panel in the original (not the exported) file, please?

An error occurred while saving the comment If they ever close the gap — yes.
At the moment proper vectors are not just gap, but a canyon. And I can’t say they are in a rush to close it.
Besides that: no revolve direction control (they are just opposite compared to classic), no fit mapping or decal snapping, no partial presets, no lighting lock... the list is long. They accomplished a lot, but I feel it slowed down recently. An error occurred while saving the comment Classic 3D hasn’t changed... that’s the problem. It does not not get changed and probably won’t be changed. So instead of trying to fix it, the team seemingly decided to leave it as is and try anew.
So either you are correct with 'something else broke it', or it’s a general notion of 'software becomes worse'. Hard to tell without an actual file you’re struggling with.
Having vector 3D, REAL one, wit ho no raster-trace-over is definitely a thing many users want... they don’t vote though! Soo....An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for there concern, Mark! Proper vector expanding is in plans for next builds. It should be better than the current implementation, which you can try in the 3D & Materials panel's menu, by toggling the vector output option.
Not a convenient way, I know.

An error occurred while saving the comment I wonder, what can you make with Direct Selection that iPad doesn’t allow to?

An error occurred while saving the comment It seems like the stroke is flipped and becomes a fill, right...
The reason is that (and here I have to quote) — Illustrator is not a general PDF editor. When you try to 'open' a PDF, specifically made with another up, Ai does not open it, but IMPORTS it.
PDF can include all sorts of object Illustrator does not support (it’s just not its native format): video, interactive elements, forms... To be fair, PDF can’t hold some elements Ai works with as well, and these get expanded.Hard to tell what’s wrong here without diving in. Can you also share the .indd file with these lines in it only, for the engineers to look upon?

An error occurred while saving the comment Yep, the bluish face it the top. But it does not mean the sides get oriented in a way that makes the sense in THIS particular rotation.
Check it yourself — choose Isometric Right (or the default Off-axis Front) and see how the C and other sided get oriented 'correctly'.
So what’s correct for one position in 3D, can be off for other angles. And the solution is to either rotate the shape how it makes sense for your current purpose, of rotate the symbols...
Classic 3D doesn’t offer rotation of the 3D pivot and probably never will... after all, Ai is not a a 3D editor. An error occurred while saving the comment Ah, I see. Bevel has nothing to do with it, you just flipped it over on its head.
The object you are having has an ambiguous shape. Illustrator has to assume the start of coordinates, and it does not match the one you assumed.
Take a look at the image attached: I made a copy of your object and just rotated it. The original shape is now facing down, and the extrusion goes up. This makes the positioning of the pages correct, and the only thing you have to do is to change the order of mapped surfaces. An error occurred while saving the comment Please provide a test file.
I can see the image you posted at forums, but the whole conversation is does not provide much details on what is happening and what is wrong.
I guess you and Monika were talking about different means. Bevel has nothing to do with orientation of the mapped symbols.
Again — please start with showing the file. It can be a simpler file, with only this object within. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Claudio, which version are you using?
Does this happen while you drag only and gets fixed as soon as you release? Or does it stay like this, half-rendered, when you already stopped?
Have you noticed this happening while zooming in or out?
Still doesn’t happen for me.
No matter where a place the reference point, the contents of it (a vector art or a linked image, completely inside or only partially) stays in place correctly when resized, with or without Move/Copy Artwork with the artboard option (checked just in case).
The build is the same...
Can you please record a short video of you trying it (or list the steps)?
I will try to inform the team about it, to see if they can check it on your side, if needed.
