I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.1.0 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

An error occurred while saving the comment Ah, I see, thank you for the clarification.
While I still think the idea is interesting to explore, I have some thoughts specifically about the problem you were having.
1. Non-printable characters inside of a symbol look black and not colored to a layer’s color. Hard to spot, but still an indicator.
2. If you disable bounding box for a moment, you will we able to see that symbols do not have edge frames drawn, only a small cross icon in the middle. Knowing this, you can select all and see who is from you legal blocks is not having a frame.AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) supported this idea ·
An error occurred while saving the comment Voted.
Basically I’d be glad if I was able to Select > Object > Symbols... or select all (or several) symbols in Symbols panel and search for every symbol on the canvas from the selection. But Andres, what is the purpose?

An error occurred while saving the comment Yeah, that was a bug, and it was horrible.
It got fixed in later release. Does it work OK now? -

An error occurred while saving the comment It feels like you have 'Use Artboards' option checked on in the Save dialog. If yes — than it’s normal, Ai adds the artboard number/name to the saved document named, after it is specified...
Please try to see if it is the case and comment back. -

An error occurred while saving the comment It used to, indeed!
I see why you might want that.
Voted. An error occurred while saving the comment Are you sure it did that?
I have CC2015 (along with 2020) and it’s not like this there.
What version do you say has it? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Abbas, it's because designers of this window never though of it.
So first create with any value and then go to Effect > Document Raster Effects Settings... and choose Other for Resolution.
And you have my vote. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Can you provide more details or show some examples? There are many ways to cast a shadow. Drop Shadow, the simplest one, is already there.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sufian, you mean 'Anti-aliasing ' option in the JPEG/TIFF Options dialog window? Because 'Supersampling' is not a correct term I believe...
Does it switch for you into 'None'? Can you explain a bit more? There are many ways to export an image from Illustrator, and I know which are you using, because it always stays anti-aliased for me as I export stuff. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Oh, I had the same problem myself. External studios ruining my templates, unlocking, merging layers, deleting things that they found confusing...
But what I think is going to happen if this feature get added, is a lot of tutorials on 'how to unlock a password protected layers' in Ai :) Again, a user can export and import a PDF to partially bypass a restriction.
I tried to solve this by linking a password-protected PDF in templates... but Ai requires a password to place it.
So I vote, but cautiously, because I don’t believe this solution will solve the problem.
Never happened to me. It's a bug, not a feature request though. Can you repost this in Bugs section?
