We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 23.0.

Adobe. Make It an Experience.An error occurred while saving the comment Griff commentedI agree. This is a big problem for me because I use automation in a lot of my workflows, and I need to see which artboard is highlighted.
The workaround on this fix is to edit the name of the artboard first… then it works as intended. But if you work on many files at once and are constantly opening/closing files (like me), this becomes very frustrating.
