  1. Help with bug fixes

    I am having a ton glitches with Illustrator since going to 2019 CC. When I change the colors of simple shapes they turn transparent and disappear. Zooming and out sometimes makes them reappear but more often than not I have to quit Illustrator completely and reopen. Even then it typically does it again shortly after.

  3. File operations

    I just opened 6 50kb PDF files and it took 1 minute 50 seconds. Why is it so slow? It has been this slow for a long time and I am sick of it. It makes me wonder why I should pay for this.

  7. bug: Screen turns black after choosing width tool

    In between bugs I still try to make something in Illustrator, and now this happened:

    1. I hit Shift + W on the keyboard to select the width tool.
    2. Instead of the width tool cursor, the cursor became a black rectangle.
    3. I noticed both the Selection tool and width tool were selected in the tools window.
    4. I dicided to click on an Anchor anyway, and the screen turned black. The video signal went off, monitor went on standby. The HDD/SSD light on the PC was flashing nonstop. PC did not respond to anyting (I think, but I could not see because…

  10. Honestly I would rather an entire year go by with now new features if

    Honestly, I would rather an entire year go by with no new features. Instead, I would rather all of Adobe's efforts go into making the applications run faster. I am running a brand new, completely decked out MacBook pro, and am doing some UX design in illustrator. It is getting really frustrating when I try to nudge an item with the left arrow button and have to wait a couple seconds for it to actually happen.

    I have a problem when after updating my mac os to the latest up date high sierra while using adobe illustrator ( the vectors have scratches and it got fixed when I zoom in and out from illustrator). check the attached file it might help explaining my problem

  14. There is a double layer enabled at the launching screen and New File screen

    Upon opening the 2018 CC apps the welcome/launch and the New File screens have 2 layers attached and thus makes it hard to select the file or action that I want.

  15. Go back to old Align to Pixel check box

    I wish Illustrator would go back to having a check box for align to pixel. That way I could see just by clicking on an object or objects that it is aligned. Now, in Illustrator CC 2017, I have to select every object seperately and press the new button on the top right, in order to get the message that it is aligned.

  16. Designers are being asked to design for new end user media

    Creating ways to take my vector to 3D, for 3D printing, CNC plasma cutting, and new ways that are being asked for designers and artist to file share and work better together. Exporting my work for auto cad, and 3D software, plotters etc and simplify the paths. There is 2D and there is 3D cad. But as an artist I want to be able to take what I have done in Illustrator and evolve my work and output options to and material to the next level. CorelDraw was just a play toy program.   18. AI CC 2018 SLOW!!

    I can't even begin to share my frustration with how SLOW the performance of the AI CC 2018. I've reset preferences, restarted, reinstalled...

    I'm running a 2017 Macbook Pro - everything should be running just fine but I see others are having similar issues with the speed. Must be a bug and needs to be addressed!!
