テキストをアピアランス分割+アウトラインした際、線の太さが変わる
オペレーティングシステムおよび Adobe Illustrator (デスクトップ版) のバージョン
macOS Catalina 15.7
Illustrator 2022（26.0.3）問題が発生したときに実行していた手順
1 テキストに対し、アピアランスパネルで「線」を追加。
2 線に任意の太さと色を設定。
3 アピアランスパネルで パスの変形→変形→拡大・縮小を任意の数値に設定。
4 テキストを選択し、オブジェクト→アピアランスを分割
5 テキストを再度選択し、書式→アウトラインを作成 を実行。想定していた結果
見た目そのままの状態でアウトライン文字になる実際の結果
アウトライン文字になるが、線の太さが変わる文字のアウトラインを先に実行すると別のアピアランスが作用して違う見た目になってしまうため、現状「拡大・縮小をしない」しか回避手段がありません。
Illustrator バージョン26.1でも同じ結果になります。よろしくお願いします。

文字組みアキ量設定の読み込みで名称に「コピー」が付与される
Illustrator Ver.26.0.2の、文字組みアキ量設定の読み込みに関する不具合です。
- 任意名称で文字組みアキ量設定を作成する
- 書き出しを使ってmjkファイルを書き出す
- 2のファイルを別のファイルで読み込みする
この結果として、元の名称のまま読み込まれるのではなく、「●● コピー」（●●は元名称）と、必ず「コピー」が付きます。
Windows 11および、macOS 12.1環境いずれでも発生する問題となっています。

ご報告いただきました現象を ver.26.0.2 で確認できました。
同名の文字組み設定がない場合でも、「コピー」が追加された文字組み名として読み込まれているようです。
今後の開発の進捗がありましたら、こちらで報告いたします。

「すべてのアートボードを再配置」を間隔がアートボードが隙間なく隣接する形で適用したのちに、アートボードを新規作成すると強制終了する。
オペレーティングシステム windows 10 Home 19042.1083
Illustrator 25.4.1再現手順：
1.アートボードを2つ以上作成
2.アートボードウインドウの「ずべてのアートボードを再配置」にて間隔を裁ち落としが重なる形で、完全に隣接する値で適用する。（裁ち落としが四方3mmであれば、間隔は-6mm)
3.アートボードウインドウの「新規アートボード」ボタンにてアートボードを作成する。
4.Illustratorが強制終了する。アートボード間に少しでも隙間がある場合は再現せず。当方の環境では同様の手順で例外なく強制終了しました。

ご報告いただきました問題について検証した結果、以下の条件で Illustrator がフリーズする現象を確認いたしました。
複数アートボードを再配置する際に、アートボードエリアの間隔を「0mm 以下」に設定し、その後、新規アートボードを追加するとフリーズし応答しなくなる。
裁ち落としの有無に関係なく、アートボードエリアが重なる設定だと発生します。
Illustrator ver.25.4.1、ver.24.3 の macOS と Windows の両方で再現いたしました。今後、追跡調査を行います。
開発に進捗がありましたら、こちらでご報告いたします。よろしくお願いいたします。

ご報告いただきました「棒グラブの座標値の間隔が『7』の場合、座標の最大値が表示されない」問題の再現を確認いたしました。
間隔が「7」の場合にのみ発生するようです。
（最大値が「500000」以上で発生しやすいようです）今後、さらに検証を進めてまいります。
開発に進展がありましたら、こちらでご報告させていただきます。今後ともよろしくお願いいたします。

スライス作成直後はスライスオプションのショートカットが無効になります
MacOSX 11.4
Illustrator ver.25.3.1「矩形を選択→オブジェクト＞スライス＞作成」の手順でスライスを作成した直後はショートカット（eg: option+command+K) でスライスオプションのウィンドが開きません。
一度「矩形を選択→オブジェクト＞スライス＞スライスオプション」の手順でスライスオプションのウィンドを開くと以降はショートカットで同ウインドを開くことができるようになります。
以前のバージョンからの症状ですが、バージョンがいくつか上がっても修正されないため報告いたします。2 votes -
レイヤー名が入力しづらい

Illustrator25.3.1日本語の変換周りの問題かと思うのですが、レイヤー名が入力しづらいです。Photoshopでは問題がないので、Illustrator固有の問題か、私の環境がIllustrator上でのみおかしいのかと思います。
レイヤー名を変更しようとする時、
１・バックスペースで消去しようとすると文字が確定してしまう
２・Tagキーで変換候補を選択しようとすると文字が確定してしまう伝わるかどうか不安ですが、動画を添付します。

日本語の macOS のシステム環境設定＞キーボード＞入力ソースの「推測候補表示」が有効時に表示される変換候補ポップアップリストは、「Tabキーで予測された単語を選択」できる仕様です。
しかし、Illustrator の場合、 Tabキーでは変換候補リスト項目の移動はされずに、パネルやダイアログ UI 上の次の項目に移動され、変換されていない文字が確定入力されしまうことを確認いたしました。
追跡調査を行っております。

テキストにセットしたFOT-UD角ゴが正しく表示されない。（設定の狂った小塚ゴシックで表示される）
テキストにセットしたFOT-UD角ゴフォントが正しく表示されない。
ドキュメント内のすべてのFOT-UD角ゴに適用されるわけではなく、正常に表示される部分とされない部分が存在している。ドキュメントを開いた際に、FOT-UD角ゴではなく、UDKakugo LargePr6N-M-90ms-RKSJ-H*のアクティベートを求められることから、UD角ゴを指定した際に、フォントの英語名での指定にすり替わっているのではないかと考えられる。
ディアクティベーション後にリアクティベーションしても治らない。
ドキュメントをFOT-UD角ゴで作って保存後に閉じて開きなおすと、UD-kakugoがないとされて、表示が崩れる。
その後、FOT-UD角ゴを指定しなおしても、小塚ゴシックで表示される。
なので保存をするとUD角ゴを使っていた部分すべてが崩れる。
修正をしても保存したら崩れる。
Adobe Fonts側の問題なのか、illustrator側の問題かわからないので、ここに報告しておく。（フォントの内部的にUDkakukgoの情報が保持されていて、上書きができない？）

Applescript "open without dialogs" no longer works
I have an Applescript that has the statement
open (thePDFName as alias) without dialogs
In Adobe Illustrator 2019, it works. In Adobe Illustrator 2020, it gives me an "unable to open file" error. When I comment out "without dialogs", it opens the file, but then naturally pops open a dialog (not helpful when you are opening dozens of files!)
MacOS 10.13.6, not sure what other information would be needed.

Workaround: Use the POSIX path for opening files
Example:
set myFilePath to POSIX path of theAIFile

Svg export
Hi! I met with you at CreativePro conference in Seattle. I would like to see more control when exporting svg from Illustrator. More specifically, the ability to remove the title tag when exporting. If not, that's ok, the svgomg site cleans up svg code well. Thank you!

Thanks a lot for reporting the issue here. We are currently looking into when we write add the title element and when we don’t.
For more context: The problem you mentioned at CPro was the tool tip that shows up when hovering the mouse above an -embedded SVG document.

Possible bug: Crash after script runs... runs OK in ESTK.
I believe this might be a bug since it crashed Illustrator rather than the script crashing gracefuly.
I have a script which, when completed, crashes Illustrator. The script runs fine when ran from within the ESTK but crashes when ran from the AI File->Scripts menu. Attached is the crash log. I cannot post the script itself here but am willing to send it to an Adobe employee privately if needed.

When group is selected the "Make pixel perfect" option is missing in the proportes panel
The "Make pixel perfect" option for selected objects is missing when they are grouped, in the previous version it was easily accessible from the top right corner icons now have to dig in the Object menu.

Bitmap (1-Bit) Image downsampled to 300 dpi in PDF Export - スリープさせるとレインボーカーソル化

Illustrator 29.3.1Illustratorを起動したまま、画面を（物理的に）閉じると、次画面を開いた時にIllustratorがレインボーカーソルのまま動かなくなります。毎回強制終了して再度起動しています。
ブラウザなどの他のアプリケーションはレインボーカーソル化しません。Illustratorを28にしていた頃は起こらなかったです。

Illustrator breaks lines of Latin area type text without hyphens at arbitrary positions
It is truly a disaster. Working with packaging in different languages, I experience this problem very often. I am forced to format the text in indesign, convert it to paths and paste it into Illustrator...
Here a sample file: it seems this issue affects especially Cyrillic, but only in certain fonts.
Indesign handles it correctly.
To avoid this, I've made a script that assign the "no break" attribute to every word in a selected paragraph.1 voteThe font team informs, the font used is a Japanese font, developed by Coji Morishita. Even though it has Latin and Cyrillic glyphs in it, it’s displayed in the Japanese section in the font list, and has a preview rendered in Japanese (when no text is selected and 'Show Font Names in English' is disabled in Preferences > Type.
CJK fonts, such as this one, allow to break one character per word, and this extends to Cyrillic glyphs these might have, even with the correct language is picked in Character panel.
The team is considering to treat Cyrillic like non-CJK when the CJK font's Cyrillic is not full-width, but currently sees it as a narrow case.

Generated Pattern Glitch in 28.6
In the newest release of Adobe Illustrator (28.6), when I use the generated pattern feature, the pattern does not match up along the edges (does not create a seamless pattern). When I switch back to the previous version, I do not have this issue.

If you define the swatch none in Actions (in the Englisch version),
in the Dutch version you get the message: the swatch can not be found
(message in Dutch: Het staal kan niet worden gevonden)

貼り付けたテキストの末尾に不明な何かが混入する現象について

1. メモ帳等の別のアプリケーションにある書式情報のないテキストをコピーする
2. Illustratorにて、テキストポイントやテキストエリアを作らずに貼り付ける【想定していた結果】
手順1でコピーしたテキストがIllustrator上に貼り付けられる【実際の結果】
テキストの貼り付け自体はできますが、末尾に“何か”が混入します。曖昧な表現になっていますが、“何か”は設定するフォントによって見えたり見えなかったりします。Arialにすると白四角で表示されます。
アートボード上では選択やコピペができますが、検索フォームに貼り付けることはできませんし、メモ帳等に貼り付けることもできません。
情報パネルで確認すると「Unicode:0x0000」と表示されます。1 vote
