1. Swatch pattern reduces scale when copied from one illustrator document to another

   When I copy a CAD drawing from one illustrator document to another, the pattern swatch scale in the CAD reduces.
   I've noticed it doesn't happen with every swatch, only some. Sometimes the CAD itself will also reduce scale.
   I have also noticed that if I create a new document I won't have this issue, however when I paste it into an already existing document, this is when the problem is usually occurring.
   I have doubled checked the canvas size for both documents, and they are the same.
   This is in version 30.2.1.

2. W-Hの数値がリンクアイコンがアクティブなのにリンクしない

   The issue seems to visible at our end after closing the Illustrator and reopening the file. However, it is just the value does not get updated in the pop up panel. The transformation change on the object happens fine and is reflected properly in the properties panel as well. Let us know if you are experience similar behavior or not.

4. "Open" window loads blank and duplicates

   Issue Description

   When I try to open files using File > Open… or the shortcut Cmd + O, the “Open” dialog window does not appear immediately. Sometimes it takes several seconds, and other times it takes minutes before it shows up.

   Because of the delay, if I press Cmd+O again or click File > Open repeatedly, Illustrator eventually opens multiple overlapping blank windows. These windows appear with a dark/empty content area and no file information loaded.
   They also become unresponsive for a while.

   Steps to Reproduce
   1. Open Adobe Illustrator 30.0.
   2. Go to File > Open…, or press Cmd + O.
   3. Wait for the dialog to appear (it delays significantly).
   4. Press Cmd + O again thinking it didn’t register.
   5. Illustrator eventually opens several overlapping empty windows.

   Expected Result

   The Open… dialog should appear instantly, in the usual macOS native window, showing recent files, local files, and cloud documents.

   • The Open window takes several seconds or minutes to appear.

   The team has identified an issue for a small subset of users who are on the Windows operating system and also have their network traffic routed through a proxy.

   A temporary solution to this issue is the following:

   1. Open up PowerShell
   2. Copy and paste the following commands:

   cd "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 2026"$env:WEBVIEW2_ADDITIONAL_BROWSER_ARGUMENTS = "--use-system-proxy-resolver"& '.\Illustrator.exe'

5. Document Raster Effects settings not being honored on all affected objects

   Illustrator 30.1 on MacOS 14.6.1
   Changing the Document Raster Effects settings used to affect all objects with pixel effects, at current it appears not to anymore and one has to manually force an update of the Drop Shadow effect for example.

6. Cannot Save as New File in v30

   Using the latest version of Adobe Illustrator (2026 version?)

   Trying to "save as new" but the save window does not load completely and then button shapes inside disappear and remains in this state. The only thing you can do is close the box.

7. Missing fonts with asterisk still appear in Illustrator font menu — even after cache cleanup

   Illustrator keeps showing missing fonts with an asterisk (*) in the font menu, even when those fonts are no longer installed or active.

   This happens even in new blank documents and after multiple attempts to clean caches and reset preferences.

   It makes the font list cluttered and hard to navigate, especially for users who work with many typefaces.

   Please consider adding an option to hide missing fonts from the font menu, or improve the way Illustrator handles font references and cache rebuilding.

   This issue has been affecting productivity and font management for a long time.

8. Dragging a guide with Real-Time Drawing and Editing mode enabled makes black or cyan edges appear for all objects

   I'm not sure if this is a possible feature, if so please let me know for what I can use it. Otherwise I would like to report it.

   For example the following explanation:
   I place some retangles on the artboard. Two objects get a color filling and the third one is filled with white. I use a ruler on one of the colored objects. When I drag the same ruler again, the white object appears and all object have a black stroke. When I drag a second ruler the white object does not appear. If I grab the second ruler again, the white object appears again. And so on, no matter how many rulers there are.

   I took a Screenrecord to show you. Looking forward to hear from you guys.

   I'm not sure if this is a possible feature, if so please let me know for what I can use it. Otherwise I would like to report it.

9. Suffix still gets added when an image is exported even though the option to add it is disabled

   While exporting a AI file to, for example JPG, the checkbox for automatic file extension (suffix) is unchecked. When I export it, the filename gets a extension (suffix) '-01' behind it. When I export, check the box, and uncheck it, the file saves without the extension (suffix), like it should. So every time I have to check and uncheck the option before exporting. Very annoying. Never had this issue before.

   Newest updated installed 29.6.1 on Windows 10 Pro.

   Anyone else has the same issue?

10. Not Getting "Overwrite notification" when exporting using "File/Export/Export as..."

    This only started happening recently and I'm not sure what to do to fix it. Whenever I export a file using the "Export as..." feature, I'll navigate to the location where it was previously exported and click the "Export" button. I used to get an overwrite notification asking if I wished to do so and I'd just click yes or no. Now, for some reason, that notification isn't triggering and Adobe Illustrator is just overwriting. I tried using Windows Explorer to copy and paste a file to the same location, and Windows "does" give the standard notification to confirm overwrite. It's only when I'm using Illustrator (specifically "File/Export/Export as..." with "Use Artboards" checked, that it's skipping that step.

    It doesn't matter what format I'm exporting.

    I created a 100 pt x 100 pt artboard.  Export as JPG to desktop with settings outlined in the attachment.  When I try to repeat the process, I should get an overwrite notification but I do not..  No notification. The process simply overwrites without question.

    I'm on PC

    Microsoft Windows 11 Professional Version 24H2
    Illustrator version 29.8.2 (64 bit)

11. Spot swatch color is not saved correctly when changing the color of an existing swatch

    1. Details of your operating system: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (10.0.19045 Build 19045)

    2. The version of Adobe Illustrator (desktop): 30.0

    3. The steps you were taking when you experienced the issues:
       Create a new document, add a spot swatch and set the color to 100% cyan (or any color). Apply this spot swatch to an object, like a rectangle for example. Save the document as an .ai file. Then, change the color of the spot swatch to a different color (for example 100% yellow, or any color). Save the document again as an .ai file. Open the document in Acrobat.

    4. Your expected result and the actual result:
       Expected result is that the rectangle in the file when opened in Acrobat should be 100% yellow, following the example above, or whatever the spot swatch color was changed to. Actual result is that the rectangle remains the original color when the document was first saved. If the spot swatch is changed, then copied into a new document then it displays correctly when saved.

    5. Upload your Illustrator file or a video (screen recording or gif, this helps us most to reproduce the issue and resolve it)
       Open the file in Illustrator and the rectangle is yellow. Open the file in Acrobat and the rectangle is cyan.

    Why does this matter? Many production printing RIPs use the embedded PDF data in the .ai file. If the spot swatch color data is not being updated correctly on a subsequent file save this causes issues in production workflows.

12. PDF with negative values for BleedBox, MediaBox shows incorrectly

    A PDF with negative values for the lower left corner of BleedBox, MediaBox and a TrimBox that has its lower left corner at (0,0) shows differently in Illustrator and Acrobat. Acrobat (and other PDF viewers) show the contents as expected, in Illustrator the content seems shifted.

    The attached example PDF has three different pages, the first two pages look as expected, the last page (with the negative values) does not look the same in Illustrator and Acrobat.

14. Spell check error - changes language to Bulgarian

    Spell Check starts in English for the first few then always changes to Bulgarian! This renders spell check absolutely useless, unless I happen to type in Bulgarian... which I haven't had the need to so far.

15. Gradient panel bug

    I can't scroll in the Gradient panel like in the Libraries panel where i can see the other options or like the Properties panel when there's more options, but the space is not enough, but you can scroll so you can see the rest. And also the little panel where you can see the default styles of gradients is taken so much space and you can't minimize that space, that could be good, or just leave a line where you can see a limited or recent styles chosen but then you can click so it expands and shows you the entire library.

16. Template Layers Still Visible on Export for PNG and JPG

    I am creating a logo package for a client and am attempting to export multiple logos / graphics with transparent backgrounds using the export panel. I've already confirmed multiple times that my PNG settings include transparency and that the View > Overprint Preview setting is unchecked. My background layer is set to non printing, however any PDF or PNG I export includes a visible background layer. I can completely hide this layer to avoid exporting it, but then I can't see my artwork correctly. The whole point of non printing layers is to see them when you are designing without exporting them. I am using Illustrator 29.1 and am on an iMac running Ventura 13.7.2.
    I've been using Illustrator for over 10 years and non printing layers have always worked. The fact that these layers are showing up in both PDF and PNG exports indicates that it's a global transparency issue and not a file type setting. I've read every thread I can find and tried every setting possible and cannot get non printing layers to export with transparency. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

17. 異体字グリフがプレビュー用に保存しても表示されない

    再現手順
    1.新規ドキュメントを開き任意のテキストを入力し適当な単語を入力し一部のキャラクタを選択して異体字に変更する（異体字を含むフォントを指定すること）。
    2.「ファイルプレビュー用に許可されたフォントを埋め込む」チェックボックスをONにして保存して閉じる。
    3.指定したフォントをアンインストールする。
    4.先のドキュメントをIllustratorで開く。
    5.異体字が指定されたキャラクタが「notdef」グリフで表示される。

    期待する結果
    埋め込まれたフォントを利用してオリジナルの体裁が表示される。

    実際の結果
    異体字を指定した部分がnotdef（U+0000）にフォールバックする。

18. 画像トレースのパスが粗すぎる

    手書きの線画を画像トレースで取り込む時、パスが粗すぎて手書きのニュアンスが消えてしまいます。
    以前のバージョンまでは、細かくトレースされていました。
    イラスト制作が主な仕事なのですが、仕事に使用する上で致命的な欠点です。
    仕方がないので、まだ以前のバージョンを使用しています。
    早急に改善をお願いいたします。

19. Color picker picks a color behind the OK button

    When using the eyedropper in Color Picker, when you click OK it samples the color behind the OK button instead of the one selected with the eyedropper.

20. 中韓フォントの文字組みを変更してもアキが変わらない

    フォント「思源黑體 TW」の文字組みを「なし」や「行末約物半角」などに変更しても、アキ量が変化しない現象がありました。
    上記現象が発生したバージョンは下記の通りです。

    OS：Windows 10 Pro
    Illustrator CC：V 29.1、V 29.2、V 29.3.1（V 29.2.1、V 29.3は調べてません）
    なお、V 29.0、V 28.7.3 は当該現象は発生していません。

    問題発生時の手順：

    ・スクリプトを使いCSVデータを読み込んで文字情報を取得、文字をイラストに書き込む
    ・文字入力後、フォント「思源黑體 TW」へ変更
    上記どちらでも問題が発生します。

    想定していた結果：
    添付をご参照ください。
    　V29.0文字組み「なし」.png
    　V29.0文字組み「行末約物半角」.png

    実際の結果：
    添付をご参照ください。
    　V29.1文字組み「行末約物半角」.png
    　V29.1文字組み「なし」.png
    この２つの全角、半角のアキが同じ（変化がない）となっております。
    （どれを選んでも「なし」と同じ状態です）

    他のフォント（下記）で試してみましたが、アキ量の変化は確認できました。

    ・源ノ角ゴシック JP
    ・A-OTF UD新ゴ Pr6N L
    ・メイリオ
    ・游ゴシック

    Illustratorフォーラムにも投稿し他の方にもご検証いただいたところ、日本語以外（繁体字、簡体字、ハングル）のフォントで同様の現象が起きているようです。
    また、InDesign20.1(2025)でも同様の現象が起きているようです。
