Can not open multiple ai artboards on same file
When I try to import from CC or any other folder different artboards in the same ai file, I can not see any AI files in my folders even though I have files saved there.

Needs an auto-save function and more improvement
The app freezes or crashes easily on the ipad. It deletes work of 4 hours. It does not save everytime when exiting a document.
For details:
The app crashes/freezes on existing and on new documents.
Sometimes it crashes after 5 minutes sometimes after 1-2 hours or more.
When it crashes, you have to reopen and close the app 4-5 times before it lets you open a document again.
When exiting a document :“File/Document could not be saved“, practically out of 5 documents it saves 1.2 votes -

My file cannot export as Ai
I have trouble with export my file as an Ai file, but if I export it in PNG, it’ll work but I need a AI file to submit my work. I’ve tried copy to another file, but I can’t.

Apple Pencil major issues
I have to hit my screen to get it to select not only objects, but layers, etc. and to get objects to move. My pencil works fine in any other app including some Photoshop ones. It’s making projects practically impossible and I don’t want my pencil broken. Please help.

Typing does not work with the magic keyboard in the app
I can highlight and create text boxes but when I attempt to type nothing Inputs and it selects other tools.

Absurdly slow lag and constantly freezes to the extent it’s unusable.
I am working on a fairly simple vector that I created in adobe capture. I am attempting to perfect all of the linework, but every time I try to select a different shape in my design, the app freezes. I click on it and wait and wait. I give it at least 30 seconds before I try to click again and nothing. Sometimes it takes 2-3 minutes before anything happens. Often after a few minutes, suddenly the tool changes from the point select tool to the entire object select tool (the top arrow tool instead of the second arrow tool.). Sometimes there is a blue box at the top saying something like, “Object Select.’ I have forgotten exactly what it says. I try to deselect and I can’t. Nothing happens, then finally it deselects and I see the tool has changed, so i change it back and try again. Often the same thing happens over and over again. When it does finally select the shape with the right tool, often I can edit it as long as I don’t zoom out or try to move around the artboard. If I do, it freezes and when it finally unfreezes my object has been distorted because instead of zooming out or moving, it moved part of the outlines of my object.
I am using apple pencil. I tried using my finger while it’s lagging but that makes no difference. I updated my ipad to 16.5, and then updated adobe illustrator. This did nothing to help. It’s still so slow it’s unusable. Unfortunately my mac has died and i’m paying for all of this software, but only have my ipad to use it on. I am trying to get these pieces done for my shop so that I can make the money to get a new computer, but if I can’t use my ipad to make my vectors then I’m really limited here. I don’t know what else to do. I have searched and searched for some kind of fix, but I can’t find anything except lots of other people with the same problem and no solution. I keep restarting with no avail. I also closed every other app so ai is the only one running and it still won’t work. This app used to work great. I don’t know what happened.

Fill compound paths become empty and unusable
THIS IS A BUG. I have filled compound paths that I’m working with. Many suddenly become ghost items. They paths are listed in the layers panel, but can’t be selected. After a save and re-open, the fill is gone from the thumbnail. They remain unselectable and uneditable. I’m not sure if this ghosting happens after turning off and on the visibility.

Text error
- There are a lot of errors when writing in Korean. (For example, a lot of unwritten letters are written.)
- The letter bar doesn't even move back and forth.
- If I don't use a Bluetooth keyboard, the iPad keyboard won't pop up either.
- I can't copy and paste characters.
Since I am a student, I have to work with Adobe illustrations a lot, so I suffer a lot.

The layers remain after deletion
You draw on one layer, delete the object and the layer remains in the list.

iPad Proで使っている際に時々ショートカットが使えなくなる
上記の機材（第6世代Pro、純正のマジックキーボードカバーです。）を使っている際に、ショートカットが反応しないことが多々あります。
タッチペンなどで何とかなるのですが、正直鬱陶しいです。

Snap to Grid status doesn't save with the document
Most document preferences seem to persist between sessions, but Snap to Grid turns itself off. I can reproduce this consistently:
- Enable snapping, snap to grid, and grid view.
- Close the document to save and quit Illustrator.
- Reopen the document. Snap to Grid will appear checked in the preferences, but points and artwork don't actually snap.
- Turning snapping off and on again will show Snap to Grid checkbox as being unchecked. Smart Guides remains checked when you do this, which makes me think this is a bug.

定規のゼロ点をリセットさせると、アートボードの左上端ではなく表示画面の左上端に座標が合う
タイトルの通り。
オブジェクトの正しい座標が確認できず非常に困ります(ピクセル整合作業など)。アプリ上での座標表示はこの定規をもとにしているようです。
グリッドせっかくアートボードやオブジェクトを揃えても、それに無関係な場所にゼロ点を設定されると意味がありません。
早急な対応をお願いします。2 votes
