    The app crashes when launched or if I try opening any project. Was working fine before system update.
    I already tried to delete the app and install it again.

  2. App opens, but instantly crashes after opening old or new file (ipad)

    I can’t do anything, the app just crashes instantly after opening a file on ipad. I tried to delete the app and instsll it again, but no difference.

  3. App is crashing repeatedly

    I have reinstalled my the app multiple times but it keeps on crashing repeatedly. It’s very frustrating. I’m not able to work. I have bought space too and my software is up to date. But it is still crashing. Need immediate help!

  4. Crashing consistently tried everything

    My iPad is up to date, I deleted and redownloaded the illustrator app, the app opens up and once I click one a template and it attempts to oPen up, the app crashes. I’ve tried a lot of things and need help getting this resolved asap.

  5. Crashing When Re-naming Layers

    I just recently started using Illustrator again for some work projects after a couple of months away. I’ve noticed a new bug where the app crashes every time I try to rename a layer and loses all work since my last manual save. The app has always been a little glitchy, and I’m used to that, but this has happened consistently every time I try to rename a layer over the past several days.

  10. Illustrator for iPad crashes after iPadOS 26.5 update / Cloud sync issue

    Device: iPad (256GB, over 160GB free space)
    iPadOS: 26.5
    Illustrator: Latest version

    After updating to iPadOS 26.5, Illustrator for iPad frequently crashes.

    Symptoms:

    • The app crashes when opening existing documents.
    • The app sometimes crashes when creating a new document.
    • Reinstalling Illustrator did not fix the issue.
    • Storage space is not an issue (over 160GB free).
    • Other apps such as Procreate work normally.

    Additional observations:

    • Illustrator can be launched successfully when the iPad is in Airplane Mode.
    • After launching in Airplane Mode, turning Wi-Fi back on sometimes allows the app to continue running.
    • Document lists are sometimes incomplete after launch and…

  11. Why is an app from $1 billion company freezing every five minutes?!?!

    I can’t go five minutes working on a file without the art boards freezing and not allowing me to zoom in and out. This is ridiculous coming from $1 billion company like Adobe. Tell me how Affinity can provide a software for free and it’s 1000 times more efficient and bug free than Adobe software. It’s crazy.

  12. Glitching & Crashing

    Creating a project map with multiple layers, illustrator has begun to just abruptly crash & my progress is unsaved. Very frustrating & stressful because I need to sent files to clients asap. It crashes after a few minutes/seconds of work. I have checked for updates on my iPad & app. All is up to date. Tried restarting, nothing is working & continues to happen. I’d love someone to contact me about this issue. Thank you for your help in advance.

  14. Typing (with iPad and Magic Keyboard) is nearly impossible

    Since using my iPad with the Magic Keyboard (2+ years) typing has been atrocious. Somehow only getting worse. Work takes 3x longer.
    Typing almost never works.
    Shortcut keys work 50% of the time. Then just stop until i restart the app

  18. PLEASE look into why layers are NOT being highlighted when selected on artboard!

    I cannot continue any of my projects if this isn’t fixed as I work with over 1k+ layers and thousands of paths. I need to be able to press any drawing on the artboard to find the layer it is in….what happened these past months for this to become an issue ESPECIALLY when there has been no update.

    Going to cancel my subscription until this is fixed. This is ridiculous.

  19. all of the sudden my starting crashing, can’t open anything

    I’ve never had any issues with the application for the past year. Today i can’t import any photos I get “can’t place file” and now i can’t even open a new document. It just show a blue loading circle and then crashes as soon as it goes away. Sometimes I get a little further than others, but I’m getting now where. I’ve reinstalled the app, updated my iPad, cleared out some storage, both on my iPad and cloud. I don’t know what else to do.
