Auto-Name Files To Match Folder Name If Created From Within Folder?
If a user goes into a Folder named “Pizza Party” in their My Files page, and then selects [+Create New] while inside that folder, it would be nice if that newly created file were named something like “PizzaParty1” or “PizzaPartyUntitled_1”
Perhaps many users would NOT prefer this, but just a thought!

Allow Custom Folder Icons/Images (‘My Files’ Page)
In ‘My Files ’I’d like the option to select an image of my choosing to be shown in place of the default folder icon.
A required square image size could be a requirement in order to keep the UI looking neat and organized.
Alternatively, the ability to simply select a folder color would also be helpful in allowing users to color-code and organize their many files a bit more nicely,

Make iPad AI more compatible with external keyboard
I have noticed when using a Magic Keyboard with AI on the iPad, that the arrow keys do not function in relation to typing blocks of text. How about the ability to move the curser with the arrow keys? It is fiddly using your finger on the touch screen to place the curser accurately.

Please do NOT assign our entitlement groups to any profiles when they are added to our console
When Illustrator for iPad configuration was added to our console our Illustrator entitlement group was assigned that configuration. We want any Adobe apps for our iPad users to be wrapped in Intune for security reasons. Please do NOT automatically assign new profiles to any of our entitlement groups. This is a security concern for us.

Lock stroke size on brushes for iPad.
I desperately need you to add this feature and it should be a simple add. Should’ve been added a long time ago really.
I’m using purchased and custom created brushes in Ai for iPad and the stroke ALWAYS scales to the length of the line. I can see how this would be needed or desired in some situations. But not giving me the option to keep my stroke the same whether my lines is short, medium, or long (without manually adjusting each stroke size) is absurd. I use Ai for drawing and illustrating. Make the blob brush feel like the desktop version of the blob brush.
The blob brush feels really sloppy on iPad. It should work exactly as it does on iPad. I experimented with all the different settings. Nothing made it feel or look anything like it does on desktop. This is the main thing keeping me from drawing on my iPad and instead still using clip studio. I like AI a lot more but the line work on my drawings are vital and the current form of the blob brush jus tisn’t it.

Could snapping work on everything? Anchor points, intersections, center points?
I can't get these grouped pivot point circles to align precisely enough to be usable. Rotate center can't snap to anything either.
In the Desktop version, everything snaps precisely and its great for making these little articulating animal designs, which I then laser cut. I’d LOVE this functionality on my iPad, to design on-the-go as I hoped I’d be able to.4 votes -

A few changes to the pen and pencil tools could make this app perfect
When drawing for too long with the pencil tool, the entire app gets really laggy because the app is trying to create vectors while I’m drawing. On iPad, there’s no way to turn that off, but on desktop I heard there’s a “Real time” option you can turn off to fix it.
Also, I would like to be able to hold one finger down while I’m changing a vector, and still have the other point stay still. The vectornator app (now called Curve/Linearity) lets you do this so one anchor point can have vectors facing different ways, and it also…

I suggest its shortcut is ctrl + shift + V
and
ctrl + shift + C copy shortcut
As in MS Word

Better mouse support for illustrator on iPad
For illustrator with iPad, we need better mouse integration, such as zoom on mouse wheel, spacebar shortcut for hand tool, etc. Just like Illustrator for desktop, I’m surprised these aren’t included by default.

Re-open "last save folder" when exporting files.
I would like Adobe to re-open last save folder where I just exported my adobe file on the next item I am saving.
Instead it always opens iCloud drive folder and and makes me navigate back to the folder I am saving my current projects to.
I dont need to set a specific folder to save items to as default.
I just need adobe to remember it and open it on my next save.Both illustrator and photoshop have this dumb issue.

ability to set a new font size default?
Not sure whether this is a bug or something I don’t know how to change. I find it very annoying that the default size for any font is 48! It then carries over to the desktop app….. 48 is huge .

Colorize 1 bit tiff
Illustrator on the desktop has always been able to colourise (colorize) bitmap or 1 bit tiff images - this is really useful for recolouring logos or create collages and has been a part of my workflow for years. I would really like this ability it the iPad version of Illustrator.
