  1. Please support iPad Pencil rotation / Barrel Roll

    Why isn't pen rotation enabled in Illustrator for iPad? The Apple Pencil Pro 2024 has the ability to detect pen angle, but Illustrator still doesn't detect pen rotation. For example, Procreate has this feature enabled.

  2. Measure the total length of the curve

    I often draw patterns in illustrator and it is very important for me to know the total length of the curve. Please add this functionality for ipad.

  3. Hyperlinks

    When opening a DC ai file on the iPad, if that file had hyperlinks, they get wiped out on the iPad. i certain cases, this makes using the iPad as part of a workflow unusable.

  4. Bullet Points

    You really need to add bullet points to Illustrator for iPad. if a users workflow includes opening a DC file on the iPad that has bullet points, it just does not work because bullet points tool is missing from the iPad version.

  5. Can we please please please get this app updated so that it will actually load and stop crashing.

    Please can we get this app updated so that it will actually load. I can’t work like this and the hours I have to work are prolonged 3 fold waiting for things to load every time i move something. My business is suffering because of this, and it has been getting so much slower since October of last year. I have a new high speed iPad pro, every other app I have loads just fine. Please fix this I beg you Adobe. This app is my fav when it actually works.

  7. Add swedish language to illustrator iPad, please

    I would really appreciate Swedish language support in Illustrator for iPad. Many creative professionals and students in Sweden use the app, and having it in our native language would make the workflow smoother and more accessible. Please consider adding Swedish in a future update.

  9. Bring hidden palette to front, when chosen in menu

    Great that Ai shows where a chosen palette is hidden. But... what about bringing it to front?
    When the user chooses the palette in a menu, there is a need to do so!

  10. AI on iPad unstable! Constantly freezes

    For a native app that Adobe said would make creative processes a workflow of efficiency...and indeed, free up greater creative, it does just the opposite and literally gets in the way of said processes. I keep hoping for an update that will stabilize the system.

    I give up. Too much time wasted...my and others' woes, shouting into the the vacuum that is Adobe. I wish there was some way to be compensated for all this misplaced trust. And I wish Adobe all the woe it's created for it's loyal users - me? 30 years and counting. Worst…

  12. Relinking images from the images on my iPad and not just from adobe cloud

    I saved my files in the cloud and planned to continue on my iPad and I realized I forgot to embed the images. I tried relinking them and it was taking me to adobe cloud. I don’t save images on adobe cloud the images were a lot and I had them on my iPad files/gallery. It sucks that I couldn’t sort that.

  13. Reverse compatibility between IPad and desktop files, currently I can export from iPad to desktop. But desktop Ai files don’t export to iPad

    Making it so that I can move my work seamlessly between my iPad and my desktop. iPad Air has some great features I cannot recreate on my desktop and vice versa. The one way compatibility is stunting my workflow and makes it impossible to have a positive workflow between the two.

  15. an airbrush effect would be great

    an airbrush and/or feathering option. and the more you can put into single buttons would be great. again, look at Inkpad app…. they did an excellent job at making it very easy to add drop shadows, etc.

  16. Swap seamlessly between desktop and iPad - for hand drawing path sections with pencil tool

    I work 95% desktop, but sometimes I just cant draw a curve or shape properly with a mouse. It would love a quick export button to my ipad where I can quickly REDRAW lines and curvatures with the pencil tool, then export back to desktop. This would act somewhat like me plugging in a wacom, but so much better because the ipad is so much more capable.

    The pencil tool in ipad currently does not support redrawing section of a path to get the curvature right - that needs to be fixed as a priority, since this is one of…

  19. Sync desktop profiles with iPad

    Integrate desktop profile to include ICC selection for iPad. Spent a frustrating day troubleshooting what I thought was my printer having issues. In reality anything drawn on iPad was not correcting to the desktop ICC requiring redrawing hours of work for a short deadline task.
