Enlarge PDF export function required
Hi, While we want to export the PDF we are using 'Save a Copy' with no issues, but we need a function to enlarge the result of the pdf as 2x, 3x, 4x ...... 12x because while we creating some artwork for Outdoor branding that may be more than 50 feet we have to create the artwork in 50inches and 50feet is just 12x of the 15inch, so if this function would come in the software will help a large number of users who are working for Branding & outdoor artworks.
this function was there in Print PDF by inputting 1000% for 10x large but this function also requires 1200% which is not there, and it is totally not working in MacOS.

Feature to to disable/hide unused fonts
This is definitely not the first time this has been suggested, but at this point in 2023, it’s crazy that there’s not a way to hide unused or rarely used fonts from the main font menu. If I want to find a font, I have to wade through hundreds of system fonts, including things like Noto Linear A, which is an undeciphered script, to get to the font I want.
Ideally, this would be a toggle button, similar to favorites, where you can click a toggle to hide the font, and have them in a separate “Hidden” category where they can be turned on and off at will.

Command bar in app
It would be great to have an IN APP COMMAND BAR to;
access each menus and options from NAV BAR in all ADOBE TOOLS especially PHOTOSHOP, ILLUSTRATOR, IN DESIGN..
With a simple key combination; a COMMAND BAR appears to reach quicky to menu item with text writing. Eg: COMMAND+SHIFT+P
By adding this option to all CREATIVE CLOUD APPS, people no need to modify SHORTCUTS or no need to EXPLORE NEW SHORTCUTS.
It's the new way of reaching all options to NAV MENU CONTENTS from ONE, SIMPLE COMMAND BAR. CURRENT ACTIONS or User created ACTIONS Names will be listed.
Thank you for supporting.
Please see SCREENSHOT I attached.
Also posted here with additional replies. Details on this page:

Highlight selected layer’s object
When select a path on the canvas, it doesn’t highlights the layer it is contained on the layers palette. It’s impossible find it in the context when you work with hundreds of paths. Also, please, make it in a bold color… not a slightly hue. It’s not about minimalistic UI, but about usability and efficiency.

Add ability to set opacity on color for both Fill & Stroke
In Vectornator for iPad you can set the opacity for fill or stroke when you choose the color that you want to draw in. In adobe Illustrator for iPad you can not set the opacity for fill or stroke when you choose the color that you want to draw in.

Clear Recent Files
Allow to Recent files in the Home screen to be cleared. Especially helpful for when I'm sharing my screen and don't want my students to see all my recent files.

Did Adobe really made this? It feels like a knockoff app.
Illustrator iPad feels like one of those ‘free lite versions’ you can download before purchasing a full version.
Limited EVERYTHING, buggy, likes to quit on you half the time, and they charge you money for it.

Expand (convert to paths) mirrored artwork
Please add convert to path for mirrored drawings. After making sure the drawin is perfectly mirrored we don’t need the invisible part. For creators lile me that need to create a cutting outline for stickers it‘s really time consuming to outline mirrored drawings

Rotate bounding box only
The bounding box is forever fixed now, and we can’t reset it, the way it is possible in the desktop (and there is a separate request for that: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/931888-illustrator-ipad-feature-requests/suggestions/42167054-reset-bounding-box).
But it would be better to make it better— by giving a mode to freely rotate the bounding box the way we need, to zero or another angle.
One more button in the context panel, or a toggle we can get when hold the rotation handle (to display the rotation center) — either way will do.3 votes -
Customise toolbar
I use brush tool and pencil tool A LOT. Swap between them is a pain since they are both subtools under the same button. Having the ability to split them will make my life SO MUCH EASIER.

Multiple lines/text wrap with text on path
At this point it seems like if you want to type something longer with type on path, you have to keep it to one line, or create a second type on path to continue. This makes it very cumbersome, and impossible to use if you want to type a larger section of text. I think there should be a way to wrap text so it automatically creates a new line of text.
The current solution is also frustrating because you often have to manually re-shape the path to make things fit evenly/correctly.

The app settings button is a button within a button. Fix it.
So theres an issue with the app settings button in the navigation bar. Its the gear icon button. It is a button within a button. This is called bad design and we need to fix it. Its bad design because I have to click a button to get to the app settings and then I have to click another button to get to the app settings when the first button should have gotten me to the app settings but it didn’t.
If I click on the gear icon, which is my app settings button, I am given a pop up menu of my artboard settings and then at the bottom theres another button called “app settings.” So I have 2 things in this button. My artboard settings and a button that leads me to my app settings. So what needs to happen is these 2 settings need to separate and become their own button. A button for artboard settings and a button for app settings.
The gear icon is already the app settings button so if I click on the gear icon, which is my app settings, the app settings window should open up. And now this artboard setting needs to become its own button with its own icon. So I have a gear icon called the app settings that will open up my app settings and then I’ll have an artboard setting button that will show my artboard settings.
Ive illustrated it in the photo below. I show the gear icon being the 1st button. The artboard settings boxed in pink. The app settings at the bottom being the 2nd button. Which is the button within a button. Then to the right I show the gear icon, the app settings button, opening up the app settings. Which is what it should do and then at the bottom is the artboar settings button with the artboard settings boxed in pink. I dont have an icon for the artboard setting. You guys can figure that out but I just merged the artboard icon with a gear icon as a placeholder.
So separate these 2 settings into 2 buttons so that users can 1 tap into them.

Background removal Tool
One Reason I keep my Canva subscription is because they offer a background removal tool for photos. Sometimes when I am designing on my iPad I need to perform a background removal. Canva has an amazing tool for this. If Adobe offered an equally effective background removal tool for photos in illustrator for iPad it would make my life easier and would render Canva unnessisary.

Create seemless interoperability between .ai and .aic
Currently .ai files opened on the ipad have their layer structure and object structure modified much like when you open files with older versions of a software. The objects are defined by bounding boxes and clipping masks.

Ability to link artboards
Can you add the ability to link artboards like in affinity designer so that whatever is being done to the first artboard shows on the second. This is a great feature fore textile pattern designers so that we can work in a smaller artboard but see what the repeating pattern looks like on a bigger artboard and be able to fix mistakes easier. I know illustrator has a pattern maker but it is very buggy and isn’t as good for making a pattern tile.

Show current active layer
It would be great to always be aware of the layer you are working on. Dockable submenus could keep the layers in open view to be sure that is the layer pen strokes will be collected on the appropriate layer if you accidentally touch another part of the project
