  1. Stock vectore should also be editable in ipad illustrator.

    Hello, i am really excited about the ipad version of illustrator. The feature which i wanted to recommend is that stock vectors should also be editable in ipad just like in desktop version. Alot of artists use stock vectors in their work and their is a huge market out there for it. Ipad users should not be refrained from taking advantage of the stock vectors. I hope you consider my idea and add this feature in the next update. Thanks alot and have a good day. :-)

  2. Open files directly from Dropbox

    Hi! First of all its great to be part of this finally.

    But now the important. It would be very nice if we could open .ai files directly from Dropbox etc. without having to saving it to Files etc. As you can see there is no option to open directly in Illustrator even though it’s .ai file.
    And no way to allow it in settings as far as i know, so i reckon its matter of the app rather than the OS.

  5. Image Watermarks in Illustrator for iOS

    I’m surprised that Lightroom for iPhone and iPad still does not have the capability to export with an image (PNG) watermark, but rather still just text, after all these years. How about creating a sync for watermarks from the Mac app via Creative Cloud?

  8. Several proposals (buttons) for Artboards, Settings and Publish and Export

    These are all ideas for better interaction to add to the right-hand panel. I think it should be more visible and accessible when working. Currently, they feel limited.

  9. Being able to delete and remove personally created Brushes

    1. Currently with my update on the iPad illustrator I am able to create Brushes and to some extend edit them which is great BUT I am not able to delete the brushes I have created.
    2. Similar to te desktop version I would love to see the pattern Brushes option be included in the iPad version as well. I have to create multiple versions of the same brush to make sure they don’t distort but it would be great to have the pattern brush option to be able to change the size and length without having the brush distorted.

  10. Swap seamlessly between desktop and iPad - for hand drawing path sections with pencil tool

    I work 95% desktop, but sometimes I just cant draw a curve or shape properly with a mouse. It would love a quick export button to my ipad where I can quickly REDRAW lines and curvatures with the pencil tool, then export back to desktop. This would act somewhat like me plugging in a wacom, but so much better because the ipad is so much more capable.

    The pencil tool in ipad currently does not support redrawing section of a path to get the curvature right - that needs to be fixed as a priority, since this is one of…

  11. Feature request: Imported image matches source resolution

    When selecting an image to import into a project, it would be beneficial to 1) either prompt upon import with a) the choice to import the image at its original resolution or b) the current default of fitting [one of the] dimensions of the image to the selected artboard; or 2) have an app preference that allows for this choice to be made once and applied to all images imported into projects in the future.     I really miss the edit Symbols possibility from Desktop. Almost every use case ends up with me opening the Desktop AI to make few edits to symbols I have already made, or make new ones. This is critical for my workflow.

  17. DXF import in iPad

    Since the evolution of capable CAD software for iPad we have a need to import DXF files for the generation of labels and work surfaces. This is possible in the desktop version of Illustrator but a significant roadblock when working in iPad OS.

  18. Palm Rejection Radius

    I just bought an ipad pro since I was having issues with palm rejection while drawing on desktop with a wacom cintiq 27q hd. (It was detecting a point on my palm while drawing with brush tool and was making zig-zagged lines even when I have the gloves on and I wasn't really having an issue beforehand like years ago using the earlier versions of illustrator cc.)   19. CMYKOGV colormode support in Adobe tools

    We would like that Adobe tools like Illustrator, Photoshop and Adobe PDF support a new color mode CMYK-OGV. Today Both support CMYK and colorconversion to CMYK-OGV Extended Gamma is not easy. You need special tools and plug-ins. There is no color mode in any Adobe Tool that allows CMYK-OGV. It will improve print quality in the hole graphic industry. Also It alllows easy conversion from RGB to CMYK-OGV if there is a color mode option. Same also for Adobe Camera Raw that allows to chose CMYK icc print profiles.

  20. Auto-Name Files To Match Folder Name If Created From Within Folder?

    If a user goes into a Folder named “Pizza Party” in their My Files page, and then selects [+Create New] while inside that folder, it would be nice if that newly created file were named something like “PizzaParty1” or “PizzaPartyUntitled_1”

    Perhaps many users would NOT prefer this, but just a thought!
