    The current workaround for completely eliminating 'Recent' section in font list is to set '0' in Preferences > Type: Number of Recent Fonts.

    But since it’s stupid, please add votes to make it work properly.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.4.1 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

    Update: it did eventually go away. I didn't have to do anything.

    There is a blue box in the upper right corner of my screen that won't go away. This is most annoying.

    AI version 25.3.1 on Mac OS 11.4
