An error occurred while saving the comment A bit exaggerated, but it usually looks like this.
An error occurred while saving the comment Exactly! It happens a lot for me — I try to open the panel, but accidentaly tear it off instead. Opening and closing a panel is a more common operation than rearranging, so the priority is clear here.

Illustrator app cant save anything when disks are full. Please try to free some space and try again.
An error occurred while saving the comment Ashley, your disks are full. You don’t have enough disk space to perform this operation — it is written in quite plain English just above the error message. This is not a bug, it’s just you don’t apps enough room to work with. Please try to free some space and try again.

An error occurred while saving the comment It is just strange the team thought that having ‘equalise handles’ is more important than having the ability to constrain.
When a new point is drawn, it has equalised handles anyway.AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment As for the 'shrink the current artboard to the size of the selected art' — it can be done now, with Object > Artboards > Fit to Selected Art.
And there is also Fit to Artwork Bounds, in case you want it to fit to everything at once without selecting it first.
So I don't think it’s that large of a workaround, to call for this with a hotkey (I use the first one quite often)... -

An error occurred while saving the comment Indeed, it does.
If you locate the ImageTracing.jsx (should be somewhere here: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 2023\Presets\en_GB\Scripts\ImageTracing.jsx) and open it in a text editor, in the line 36 you will find this:
var COLLECTABLE_EXTENSIONS = ["bmp", "gif", "giff", "jpeg", "jpg", "pct", "pic", "psd", "png", "tif", "tiff"];So the script is written in a way it's case-sensitive.
You can modify the script (the easiest way is to include upper-case variants for all the extensions) and backup it, since it’d be replaced each time Ai updates. As for the permanent fix to this — I’ll try to let the team know.
Thanks! -

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks, this makes more sense.
Indeed, not handy at all when you can’t see how a gradient flows for a text.AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Ashfaque, the text does not vanish for me when I drag over it, but gets filled with the layer’s color (like blue for the first layer), whether the edges or smart guides are enabled... This does prevent seeing how a gradient is applied to a text with a Real-time preview on.
The video you mentioned did not get attached it seems.
Does it still disappears for you?

An error occurred while saving the comment And the same happens for assets and documents’ numbers:

Which sequence to read for sorting: from left to right and to the next row, or from top to bottom and to the next column. Plus if two artboards are on top of each other and other non-obvious cases.

An error occurred while saving the comment This is annoying, true.
Here is a related request about artboards’ numbering, they have the same exact problem:

Plus documents’ numbers:

An error occurred while saving the comment Are you able to test this in the previous version, just to be sure? Or have you already tried?
Definitely works on Windows, have just checked. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Attachments misbehave lately
An error occurred while saving the comment Yep, I can confirm that.
Arrowheads, pattern brushes, are never scaled, no matter where you put the effect in the stack, and dashes (with the 'align dashes' option enabled) gets scaled weird. Also, there is another problem with scaling an artwork with the Scale tool. If the object you are scaling has several strokes applied to it, only the top or the selected stroke will get scaled with this 'scale everything but object' method.
Take a look at the file attached. The object on top is the original one, the one below is the 'manually scaled' one (only one stroke got affected), and the one on the right is with a live Transform.
This is actually intended, although I agree it looks slightly off.
Same leading scheme is now used in Select > Same menu.
