I use very similar settings (and I assume Round Corners is an effect applied to the rectangle, correct?), but it looks as expected...
Please take a look at the document and the screenshot attached. Does it look the same when you open it in your Ai?
Can you share your file, if this only happens within it? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Flavio, just to be sure — does actually closing other document, as the message offers, helps with opening this particular document? Does it happen with this one only? With that many documents opened?

I extracted the problem into a file and recorded a GIF.

An error occurred while saving the comment I tried to save a new document using this wonderful name, and was able to load it back just fine... a test folder is buried deep enough to have the full path name be as long as yours (probably). Strange.
A workaround is quite simple indeed, but... a bug is still a bug :)

To investigate this, the team would need to have the original document (along with the fonts used, if possible), collected with File > Package, and a screenshot the settings (or the PDF Preset file) used to generate the final file.

Layers panel has a dedicated button at the bottom, with the magnifying glass — it’s the same Locate Object command. But if you want Ai to automatically select it for you, please upvote this request.

An error occurred while saving the comment Paula, most often this happens when the Keyboard Increment value in Preferences gets changed — it’s easy to do it, because it’s the one that is selected when a dialog gets opened. Please check it, if this is troubling you (still).

An error occurred while saving the comment The closest thing to cloners we have in Ai today, out-of-the-box, is Object > Repeat > Grid.
Another approach to creating these, older than Repeats, is Effect > Transform.
Another way is to use external plugins, like AG Array and AG Transform.Given these — what else are you missing from Cloners?

An error occurred while saving the comment It’s possible to assign a separate hotkey for this tool in Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts: Tools... In fact, I’ve been using Shift+A assigned to it on a Windows machine for decades now.
What happens when you assign something like this? Please comment back. -

Do you still have the problem today? If yes — can you please record a short video with steps to reproduce it clearly, so the team could try to reproduce this in house? It’s either no happening today at all, or I’m doing something wrong. Please help. -

Not sure I get it exactly... Do you mean it won’t let you save at all, or won’t allow you to set a new name in the dialog, or won’t allow saving without a name... Please clarify. -

If yes — please tell as much as possible about your OS, drives configuration, network, the cases when it works and when it doesn’t... without this data it’s indeed 'not a generic issue'. Without the ability to replicate this in-house or test 'in vivo' the fix is unlikely to happen :(
I bet so... it looks familiar, I think I spotted another report like this... but in case it’s still a document-realted problem, please share your file, along with the font file used (if possible).
