As stated in the article linked below, Pantone’s licensing with Adobe got changed.
Due to this change, customers will need to purchase Pantone Connect licenses to access Pantone colors in Adobe Creative Cloud products.

An error occurred while saving the comment Yeah... I have a guess the decision was driven by Pantone rather than Adobe. We all assume they wanted more revenue, since printing becomes less relevant and they can’t sell color books that efficiently as before.
Sadly, this request probably won’t mean much for them, even if we get a thousand votes :( But I personally can hope anyway. Perhaps the world will just find another way, Pantone-less. -

So far there is no native solution for this, but there are some third-party solutions: Magic Picker (https://anastasiy.com/magicpicker) and Adobe Color Picker (https://github.com/smallpath/adobe-color-picker).Compared to Photoshop’s wheel — what do you think Illustrator should have there and done better?

WebP export support is added in illustrator 27.6.
There is no information yet about exporting other formats requested. Meanwhile, we can import / place HEIC/HEIF, WebP and AVIF already.

The next beta build should have the fix
An error occurred while saving the comment Eric, I was told a week ago the second issue you mentioned is going to be fixed in the next build.
As for the other issue, with the assertion failure — I'll try to bring some attention to it. These messages are clearly for devs only and should not interfere with the users’ workflows like this.

An error occurred while saving the comment Carlos, so when you try to hit Enter in Beta, in ends the editing instead of inserting a carriage return/ line feed symbol? Is this what you mean?

23 votesI am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 27.0.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
