An error occurred while saving the comment Alt+Enter works for me at Windows, same as Alt+C. Both hotkeys create a copy of a selected object moving it by entered values.
Two colleagues just tested it for me on Ai 2021 at Mac Mohave, and Beta M1 and it DOES work for them.
I think you should A) reset preferences (I know, a dumb advise, but the support will ask you to do it anyway), B) if it persists, call support and demo it for them.

An error occurred while saving the comment Just asking: are you sure that this shape has only one fill and it is it that is selected now? Open Appearance panel, please, and check. I know that certain Eyedropper options can lead to assigning several fills when you are not expecting that (which is not a bug), so please do.

What exactly do you want? Can you explain further?Envelopes, as blends, meshes, and now repeats, produce plugin object, that have objects within. If you need to access the contents — you usually can isolate them or switch a mode. So it can be edited. And you can place appearance in stack on top or below the container. You can't duplicate it, because it IS the object. You can. But you can apply effect below the contents just fine.

It is you who knows both tools, it is you who knows why Illustrator path control is uncomfortable to you, so it is up to you to explain your request. Because otherwise the answer could be honest 'Use Corel Draw then'.
What do you think is better in Control tool (you mean Shape tool?)
What do you think is missing from Ai’s Pen and Direct Selection?

Wacom tablet, right? A common issue with the driver, I presume. Try to reinstall it and restart everything you can. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Riner, it is a GPU rendering issue. GPU renders fast, but can cause artifacts in some cases. It depends from one’s machine’s specs. I checked your file and it renders fine for me.
Try View > Preview on CPU.

You can make a swatch global to achieve this
An error occurred while saving the comment Ben, by multiple places you mean different documents or different pieces of a single artwork?
If 1 — use Libraries, I guess. If 2 —just tick Global when creating a swatch. -

I can test the file on 25.2.1 Windows for you to see if it happens. So far I tried to replicate the scenario and it worked fine for me, both Alt+dragging and Copy via Move dialogue.
Not fixed.
Please anybody check this for me:
1. Select an object
2. Disable Constrain Proportions
3. Put cursor in a Width or Height field (Control or Transform or Properties)
4. Press Ctrl+Up/Down arrow (to change by a fraction: 0.1px or 0.5mm, depending on units)
Should change only this value, but the other get changed too, as if the Constrain is on.
