Setting 2 consistently produces far fewer points than it’s supposed to.
And I'm generally using this setting.An error occurred while saving the comment For months, I wondered why there was such a big gap between 1 and 2.
I just never thought to check setting 3 :) -

Beta 29.7.0.60 introduces Search field in Preferences.
Now we can jump to the found option quickly by typing a name or a part of it.
Please try to update and test if it suits you (be careful though, this build also introduces many WIP change to the snapping system!) — and comment back if you have important notes.

Same panel would be good for VSW profiles. When there are a lot of profiles, selecting them from a dropdown menu is hard. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Pen tool feels very unnatural in its current form. I use the Pencil tool to draw, and third-party tools (Astute) to shape the path and handle the final touches.

You can do it natively now, by choosing the standalone Delete Anchor Point Tool and clicking a point with Shift held.

These two simple sorting options would give us a clear view of what’s happening.
Who doesn’t like a more dynamic forum?
Astute DynamicSketch is like magic, I know.
If someone uses Illustrator for serious work, they really should use Astute Tools. The whole bundle is miraculous.
But as a rare case for Astute, DynamicSketch has issues on my system (Windows 11). I think it’s related to the API.
