In most software, it doesn't matter wether a . (full stop) or , (comma) is used as a decimal separator in numerical fields. But Illustrator is very intolerant in this. Users of Dutch system have to type a comma, otherwise Ai doesn't understand, en gives an error sound. That's very annoying and can be solved easily by allowing both . and ,

When creating a new document in RGB mode,
the default Black Swatch is not black....Please repair that. It's so annoying to have to change that manually each time.

Wouldn't it be great to have Nudge arrow buttons (like InDesign) to manipulate XYW and H by a value defined in Preferences?
A great design tool imho.Jan Vork supported this idea ·

When entering Width and Height manually (entering numbers in the fields) Ai chooses the wrong orientation. E.g. w 1920 and h 1080 gives a portrait document with dimensions w 1080 and h 1920.
(the icon shows that Ai interprets the given numners wrongly - see screenshot)
Please repair.

When entering sizes manually, Ai always orients the new document portrait, even when the width is larger than the height.

Please please please make Artboard Bounds snappy with a separate setting. (like Photoshop)

When the same .psd is placed multiple time, Ai can't replace all in one go. It had to be done one by one...
