An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedA new Gradient is always added to the center of a shape. Moving it is not possible, without changing the size / redraw it.
I would like to move the Gradient within a shape with the same methods that are available for moving other element (numerically, constrain, etc.)

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedFor illustration / icons it would be handy to have a round cap on only one site of a Stroked Path, and a Butt Cap or Projecting Cap on the other end.

5 votesThere is a command in the Layers panel’s menu, called Delete Hidden Layers... Unfortunately, it deletes not only hidden layers, but also all hidden content. There is a separate request to rename the comment or add another, to distinct two operations: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-desktop-feature-requests/suggestions/43634643-delete-hidden-layers-command-innapropriately-nam Please vote. Also, there is another request to delete unused/empty layers: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-desktop-feature-requests/suggestions/40696027-delete-unused-layersJan Vork supported this idea ·

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedWhen tweaking the Stroke of an Object, it's nice to have all properties in one panel. Why not add a Color selector to the Stroke panel?

This can be done with the Corners field, located in the middle of Control panel, or in Properties.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedUpdate: the artefact only exists in CMYK mode, when black (K) is involved. Adding the adjacent color to the black makes the white edge disappear* (but setting the black shape to Overprint Fill doesn't...). Feels like the solution you need when designing for offset printing, to make sure colors register nice, whitout white gaps.
Seems like Illustrator is not equipped to handle anti-aliasing between CMYK colors correctly.
*) e.g. a black circle (CMYK 0/0/0/100) on a cyan background (100/0/0/0) shows the white edge. But a black+cyan circle (100/0/0/100) on a cyan background doesn't show it.

Don't snap Smart Guides to off-Artboard objects in Trim View
It's not effective.
