    Unfortunately we are not able to reproduce this issue. Could you kindly provide the following information to help us nail this down :

    1. Kindly provide a short recording with some steps with which you are facing the issue and share with us in a zip file on ShareWithAI@adobe.com .

    Yes, this is very frustrating. I make new documents with varying sizes all day.....I run into this often.

    Please fix this Adobe - it worked so well before. Now placed CC library items forget the layers and are all grouped together.

    We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 22.1.
