CORRECTION to my earlier post - we're using VBscript, not Javascript.
"Given myLabel string with at least one line break character in it, when I use VBscript code like this..."
and
"Is there a way, using the VBscript API, to achieve text-centering of multiple lines in a text frame? If not, I'd like to request a new paragraph attribute to the VBscript API to accomplish this function. An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commented
We're using this script to create dozens of figures. For those that require text centering, we must open the (otherwise) finished figure, and center the text.
While that's not time-consuming, there's always a chance that an instance will be missed, and the figure might be published with misaligned text.Anonymous shared this idea ·

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 27.1.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

Select any element of a (live) graph, using the Group Select tool, and the info panel will display a nonsensical value for Width and Height every time.
An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commented
In previous versions (3 or 4 yeas ago, and for 15+ years before that?), the info panel was the only way to see the dimensions of a graph element. Now there's no way to see the measurement of a graph element, unless you copy, then paste it to a new layer.
My colleagues and I would be forever grateful if this feature can be restored to Illustrator data graphs. An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commented

[Illustrator 25.0 and 26, Windows 10 Enterprise]
When using the Group Select tool to select an element within a graph, the Info panel shows nonsensical values (e.g. W: -2730p6 H: -2730p6 ). Since the Transform panel has never shown no values for graph elements (grayed out, 0 and 0), we relied on the Info panel to check the size of graph elements.
We use Illustrator exclusively for graphs, and this bug makes it impossible to follow our sizing standards.
This is an ongoing bug, every graph, every element of it, all the time. The Info panel *used* to show correct values in versions 3+ years old--now it shows nonsensical values.
I'd like to upload a screen shot, but every file type I try is an invalid type.. WTH?An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commented
This bug has not been fixed. [Windows 10, AI v25.2.3 ]
If the entire graph is selected, the Info panel displays the correct values. However, when a single element of the graph is selected (i.e. one bar or column), the Info panel is incorrect. In the attached screen shot, it shows"
W = -2730p6 and H = -2730p6Anonymous shared this idea ·

In case you missed it, latest Ai versions now do have Cut, Copy, Paste (all subcommands) in the context menus.

Unfortunately, the info at https://helpx.adobe.com/in/illustrator/using/whats-new.html is incomplete. It only shows NEW features, it doesn't list any bug fixes that were implemented.

This would be enormously helpful, as we need to change one constant set of colors to another. I don't understand why it's not available. Until now, I thought I could create an action for (almost) anything in a menu.
Please add this feature.Anonymous supported this idea ·

The choice of the type of a symbol is now sticky. If a user toggles it to Static, it remains Static when another symbol is created — and vice versa.
You can test this change in the latest Beta 27.8 — please comment if it works as you expect it behave.
Hooray!

Is the data appropriate for a pie chart? Is there just one set of values?
