There are now several separate requests made, based on the feedback in this thread:
1. Regarding adjustable color and opacity for 3D shadows:

All those who commented on the topic until October 16, 2023, are already added as voters there. If this is something you want to have for 3D and Materials in Illustrator — please upvote it. If possible — create new requests and bug reports about 3D, rather than commenting here inside. This will help the team to better prioritize efforts on making the feature better. It's not so simple, if your 9,5 m billboard contains both, bitmaps and vectors and you need to keep desired resolution in the resulting pdf. -

We have improved the working experience of Free Distort tool. Now the bounding box will not reset! This functionality now is available in our latest release build – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now.

Backquote(`) can be used to transform a pattern within an object. Documentation is also updated for the same https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/default-keyboard-shortcuts.html.

Hi Everyone,
This functionality has been shipped in June-2021 version of Illustrator.
The option "Paste without Formatting (Alt+Ctrl+V)’ has been added to the ‘Edit’ Menu.
Thanks for your feedback.
Perspective? Without this. it's slightly useless for me.
