I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

I love Illustrator, the app is in dire straights if I can't use the type tool correctly. So disappointing.

Same issues happening to me, this is major. I can't use the type tool for more than 5-10 minutes before illustrator hides bounding boxes, I create outlines then start editing a ton, I press undo once and im back at live type losing all my inbetween edits. I've been kerning live type and then pressed undo once and everything goes way back to when I first typed the words. Bounding boxes and edges randomly disappear. I can't even use 2019 anymore. I end up wasting so much time! Adobe, this is major. It has been doing this since the first release of 2019, never happened once in 2018 ever.

Same thing happening to me. There seems to be a lot of bugs when it comes to using the character panel/type tool in the new 2019 illustrator. This never happened once in 2018.

This happens to me too, I paste to all artboards and objects are off center or in completely different places on artboards than they should be which isn't 'paste in place' it's 'paste in the general vicinity' ugh... makes a function that should be flawless into a manual process of x and y coordinate number punching.

You can now select multiple layers in Layers panel. Click the bars (they get highlighted blue) if you want to operate layers and not their content (e.g. to drag to reorder) or click their markers to select their content — circle (target ones) or square (selection ones) next to them. There is no real difference which to pick, but if you want to select a range of layers, using Shift, use target markers.

Smart guides not working command u doesn't work either, it used to but not working for me anymore. Insanely frustrating adobe. Good thing we pay 600 a year for the software where guides don't work properly. Really delivering for me, the creative cloud is great but stuff like this deserves an immediate fix. Back to eye balling it at 10000000% zoom, great part of the process.

Ctrl + Alt + Shift + J does nothing. This should be a thing, take two anchor points that are on the same path and adjacent to one another and then there should be a command which will average the distance and place a smooth anchor point at the average between the two points it's deleting and maintain the curve. Cmon adobe you can do it, I know you can!

Batch export EPS from asset export panel. 2020 and I can't batch export EPS files. EPS files should be able to maintain the artboard name and be batch exported individually from one Ai file. Adobe, comon.
