Here we go, the first Beta version with the Dimension tool. Still very basic, but more features are to come. Please try the Beta 27.7 (available in the Beta section in your Creative Cloud Desktop application), test the tool and give the team your feedback here in comments. and refer to roadmap to see what will be added later.

Thank you guys finally make this feature available!
I had tried the beta version and happy enough with it. Of course there would be room for improvement:
- The measurement lines and the values should be automatically grouped when generated.
- The dimension values (and their lines) can follow any transformation changes to the parent object (or whatever should it be called). For example, if the object is scaled down, the measurement follows the newer value. It would save time whenever changes is made.So far those two are my main concern. This is a good start!

Considering the response from the staff above, it really surprises me. Please open CorelDraw and try their Dimension tool and it makes Illustrator like an ancient software. This feature has been available in CorelDraw for years, I wonder what the Illustrator staffs are doing.

I can guarantee, everytime I try to delete "Transform" effect in Properties Panel, Adobe Illustrator (currently 25.0.1, in Windows 10 64bit) will crash.
I am starting to like the Essential workspace with minimal and clean panels and heavily working in Properties Panel. But this problem is pretty annoying.
There's a workaround though. Even the simplest way is to go to Appearance panel and delete the effect without any problem. But still, bug is a bug.

I am happy to share that we have shipped the Bullets and Numbering in 26.4 update for Illustrator. It’s a phased rollout so you may not see 26.4 update yet but it would rollout globally in a day or two.
You can read about this and other new features here ( https://helpx.adobe.com/in/illustrator/using/whats-new/2022-5.html ).

Adobe Photoshop has a dedicated menu for making guides lines with some customization on gutter, margin, columns, row, etc., but why this useful feature is non existent in Illustrator where this is really important when making some layout design? I hope this is implemented soon.
