An error occurred while saving the comment G Lind commentedI use an M1 MacPro laptop with two monitors. I'm often disconnecting and reconnecting, with different permutations (I also uses a Cintiq tablet).
I often find that the palette setup changes and even Window > Workspace doesn't help. For instance, I just relaunched Adobe Illustrator and all the palettes are on my laptop when earlier they were on my second screen, so I need to move them all over and save as another workspace.
This problem has exists for multiple apps – but Photoshop and InDesign tend to work well when I reset the Workspace. Not so with Illustrator.
I'd appreciate a fix for this.
Thanks!

As stated in the article linked below, Pantone’s licensing with Adobe got changed.
Due to this change, customers will need to purchase Pantone Connect licenses to access Pantone colors in Adobe Creative Cloud products.

Alas, this is the world today.
An error occurred while saving the comment G Lind commentedI just started adding colour to a logo in AI CC2023 and, as promised as one of the "features:" No Pantone colours. I will be returning to AI CC2022 or maybe switching to Affinity until this idiocy is remedied. Pantone colours are still necessary to speccing colour. There are workarounds, and I use them, but if Adobe hopes to have a reputation as being the go-to graphic design app, you'd better sort this out and bring back Pantone. Thank you.

An error occurred while saving the comment G Lind commentedSure, can explain, just saw this now. In InDesign, I can change dimensions quickly in the control panel by simply typing in the values (percentage or size). In Illustrator, I first have to click "transform" to access this, which is an additional step. I use this a lot, so it would be far more convenient to have it as it use to be – I believe it used to be like InDesign. Thanks.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!
An error occurred while saving the comment G Lind commentedI was about to mention this one. Yes, this is a very simple problem and should be easy to fix!

This shouldn't be that difficult to add to Illustrator – it's sort of in InDesign, with modifiable shear angles in the control panel. I wish Illustrator had a similar interface. IMHO, ID wins in interface.
