Portability or cross-device synchronization of Illustrator workspace organization.
I have a standard way of working and organizing windows, icons, and other tools in the Illustrator workspace, and I'd like these settings to be synchronized across my devices, given that I work on my laptop and desktop in different locations at different times of the day.

Merge some features of Color window into Swatches window
I've always wished the "Color" window and "Swatches" were sort of merged... I wont' bother explaining why its useful to keep the Swatches window open, as i have to assume everybody is constantly using this. I toggle over to the Color window when i'm viewing the color name and swapping the color/fill. In the latest update of Illustrator, they've updated Swatches to include a stroke and fill selector (as well as a list of recent colors, which is pretty cool). they've not however included the swapping arrow, display name of color, or that little default fill selection. can we please just add this little section to the top of swatches and i can pretty much be done with the Color window! I've attached a doctored example of what it might look like.

Fill/Outline Color Palettes
My suggestion is to add an option of separate color palette view for the fill and outline color control menus.
When I select a shape to view or to spec its color fill or outline, it shows the RGB/CMYK slider menu for one but not the other.
I then have to select the opposite to view or spec its color or to no color. I would like to have the option of viewing the color slider menus that shows fill and outline color simultaneously. This would speed up creating and be more efficient to me. Thank you.1 vote -
Asset/Object export needs more options
I wanted to export multiple assets/objects with their artboard position and quickly realized they will get cropped and there isn't an option to change that.
The possible naming is also quite limited. Every professional program should have wildcards for naming files.
It boils down to missing batch features. I found a developer who gave it a try once (TomByrne IllustratorSmartExport). That's everything the batch export could and should be and it should be an official inspiration for how the export in Illustrator should look/feel like. Unfortunately it's not longer under development and the core functionality is broken. Preserve Text Formatting when using Paste
I would like to suggest adding an option to preserve text formatting when pasting content.
I’m aware of the Place Text feature, but it doesn’t fully meet the need of retaining the original formatting from copied text.This functionality would be especially helpful for my work, as I frequently design leaflets that include both English and Arabic text. Having a paste option that maintains formatting would save time and ensure greater consistency in my projects.
I would greatly appreciate your consideration of this feature. Thank you for the excellent work you do in developing Illustrator.

Improving Processing Performance for Large ESP Format Images
I am a scientific researcher who frequently uses this software to process images in ESP format. Overall, the software performs very well, but it becomes noticeably sluggish when handling scatter plots with a large number of data points, such as EPR spectra and fluorescence lifetime plots. Based on my experience, this may be due to limited compatibility in processing such datasets, as my Mac computer has 32 GB of RAM, which should be sufficient. I hope this issue can be addressed and optimized soon. Thank you very much!

Libraries Keep Freezing when I open a new document
I keep our company swatch colours in the adobe libraries but over the last two months the libraries would freeze where I could scroll through them. I would need to quite illustrator and reopen them to access them again.

Path Eraser tool option to keep the path closed
Maybe while holding Opt/Alt, could be a good way to do it.
I often use the Pencil tool, especially Smooth option while holding Opt/Alt, to clean points when there are too many of them and it works well on curves but not on straight lines (they become wavy).
Sometimes I use the Path Eraser tool, but as its name tells it, it erases the path and then I have to select points and Ctrl+J to join. I just want an option to give us the choice to keep the path closed or not. It would require many less steps to clean an illustration than making a selection of the points i want to clean and use simplify or smooth tool after isolating the object when there are many object close.Maybe while holding Opt/Alt, could be a good way to do it.

A faster way to recolor copies of a pattern swatch
Pattern Variants - Let's say I have 4 colours (for ex, red, green, blue, yellow) and I want my pattern to exist in all 4 colours (a complete red, a complete so on)
What we usually do - copy the colour code > duplicate the pattern swatch > go into the colour swatch and select the pattern and change its colour > then press done and rename
What if we find a way to cut down these steps and find ways to make quicker variants of each colour?

Illustratorのレイヤーパネル内でも透明度の設定をアクセスできるようにして欲しい I want you to be able to access the transparency settings even in the Illustrator layer panel.
タイトルの通りです。現在は｢透明｣パレットしかアクセスできないので、使い勝手をPhotoshopみたいにレイヤーパネル内で透明度の設定が出来ると、尚便利です。

One click flatten button, to Expand text and strokes for print/sharing
Hi everyone,
I'm a computer graphic design teacher at NABA. While teaching Adobe Illustrator, I’ve found it challenging to explain the concept of Expand Appearance and how to properly flatten text and lines for final output.It would be incredibly helpful to have a one-click solution that automatically handles proofing—expanding appearances, flattening both text and lines—and clearly indicates that the AI or PDF file is ready for print or delivery.

アウトライン未完了アラートの実装化
印刷工程時において、入稿用のデータにアウトラインがかかっていないことで印刷事故や再入稿が頻発しています。これはオペレーターの作業ミスによるものですが、データの保存時に「アウトライン未完了のアラート」があればかなり減らせます。世界中の印刷工程で起こっている問題ですので是非早急に実装してください。

Searchbar for layers or simple filters
The same idea what we can find in PS. Possibility to show just a specific layers depends type of the filter. For example showing just a lock layers will be nice or show layers with specific fill color. If I've got a huge amount of layers in the project, event if I try to naming them I spend too much time for looking for locked layer or some specific one.

A feature to copy the element as any file format and be able to paste it on any other software we want.
A feature to copy the elements in Illustrator as format, like if I create an icon I should be able to copy the icon as "SVG" or any other file format and be able to paste in any tool that I suite me. That way I don't have to keep exporting my Icons every time I create one. Figma already have that option. This is valuable for me because I work on multiple tools like Figma and Illustrator and I like to design my own Icons and I don't like Figma for designing my Icons I prefer Illustrator and exporting it every time is bit of a inconvenient to me.

1 voteAccording to the team, SVG copy/paste was disabled by default as many customers see performance issues on Windows 11 (due to clipboard recorder). It can get enabled back again in Preferences > Clipboard Handling > Include SVG Code.

More intelligent expanding of brushes to create one complete live path. Currently need to manually edit and join the path as it duplicates at the position of each brush repeat. I suppose what i want is for the expand to automatically average and join the segments of the pattern brush.

Free Transform Tool - Free Perspective & Free Distort should be there own tools with short cut.
Free Perspective & Free Distort should be there own tools with shortcuts (or that we can make custom shortcuts for), or a way to quickly filter through by hitting a key to get to the option needed (ie you hit E to bring up free transform, then hit E to select alt options like Free Perspective & Free Distort) having to scroll over to a tiny panel to select which I want to use is time that could be saved. I know the panel floats, but having to open Free Transform then move the panel near what I need, then if I use it later it's now in the way so I have to move it again. It's just a lot of a added hassle. I think it might be better that they are their own tolls like with Shear, Skew, Rotate etc. The holding shift just as with the other tools constrains proportions so that extra click is also probably not needed. To sum I think it would be great if we had a Free Transform, Free Perspective, & Free Distort as individual tools instead of the latter two being only in a panel widget connected to the Free Transform tool. Thank you.

Pen tool work flow
I use several Adobe products and the Pen tool’s work flow in Illustrator is terrible. A lot of functionality is separated into several different tools that could all be wrapped together into one beautiful tool. The Pen tool’s work flow within Photoshop works so much better! (Make a line, Add or subtract anchor points, Add or break curves, move an anchor point, move a line, rotate a selection of anchor points.) You can do all of this with the Photoshop version of the pen tool as one tools work flow. Within Illustrator you have to switch between a different tool to do every step of the process, adding a bunch of unnecessary steps just to do one simple task. Why do I need to switch do a different tool to break the curve? Having to press Shift+C should not be a thing. ALL IN ONE PEN TOOL WORK FLOW PLEASE 🙏

Center Align Area Type
The area type justification settings aren't working. If there is a text box with more than one line of text, it will not justify properly. There are no extra settings for the text boxes - ie. padding, and I tried making new area type text boxes as well.
