Allow adding Arrowheads or similar to both ends of stroke at once.
Provide an option for adding arrowheads to a stroke with one selection rather than each end individually.

Move overset text icon further away from bottom corner handle
When working with threaded text in Illustrator it is difficult to select the overset text icon since it is so close to the bottom right handle of the bounding box. If I am zoomed out I always end up accidentally clicking the bottom right handle instead of the overset text icon.
If it was moved halfway between the middle right handle and the bottom right it would be easier to click on from a distance. I made an image showing how it is now and how I think it would work better. Thank you!

Unembed filename and format
I don't get why images can't be unembedded in the original format they were embedded in, but assuming there's some internal format limitation, there's certainly no reason why all the unembedded images should default to the generic "AI_Image.psd" filename when you have the original filename right there in the links palette!!!!

Adding an mascot assistant
As the Photoshop has a banana, we want mascot assistant, like the Microsoft clippy. It would work like this: when you are idle in the illustrator with new blank document it would pop up suggesting random design prompts like: "hey why won't you design the logo for the fish food' or "make a brand for the fruit vendor'

Better implementation of Actions
Do a better implementation of Actions. More like Photoshop.
Some of the menu itens are not recorded in Actions, and others even with the Insert Menu item, still won't record the custom settings of it, and everytime you play that action, it will bring default values to it and open context menu to you to reenter parameters.
This must be implemented correctly, direclty with the record and not that patch "Insert Menu Item" option that exist today.
You should only hit record, do the menu options (even the Effects ones), and it must record it with all custom config you do, giving the option to edit the options on the action panel, but when you press play for that action, it should perform altomaticaly every step without interruptions (except when you choose it to).Please, make a proper full Action implementation in Illustrator.

Touch workspace for desktop Wacom Cintiq
I use illustrator on desktop PC with a Wacom Cintiq 16. I am baffled as to why the touch workspace is not available. I have been informed it is only available on Surface but I use a stylus exclusively on desktop and the touch optimised workspace would be ideal. I regularly switch from desktop to iPad , I would like there to be workflow continuity.

Show only existing separations
In the palette separation preview, display only colors that are actually present in the image. If the image does not contain process colors (CMYK) or one of them, it will be excluded from the list.

Hitting Tab To Rename A Layer Targets That Layer
Thanks for implementing the ability to move up and down when renaming layers!
Unfortunately, the function has limited applicability for me, because unless I can determine what the layer is, from the tiny layer thumbnail, I don't actually know what to name the layer.
Consider a geometric character design. Perhaps the ears are circles; the eye whites are circles; the pupils are circles; the glasses are circles, the knees and elbows are circles; the hair is a bunch of circles etc etc etc.
I need the shapes to be highlighted when I'm renaming them so that I know what to rename them.

アプリケーションフレームをOFFにした状態でドキュメントの新規作成をすると、ドキュメントウィンドウが全画面で配置され、左右のツールパネルの下に潜り込んで表示されます。
毎回ドキュメント全体を表示させるのに、ドキュメントウィンドウをドラッグしてサイズを小さくし、パネルとの重なりをなくすひと手間が入ります。
※ツールパネルはフロート状態ではなく固定しています。Photoshopのように（またはイラレでアプリケーションフレームを使用した時と同じように）ツールバーやパネルに重ならないようにドキュメントウィンドウを表示する仕様にはならないでしょうか。

Allow sub-groups to be seen when re-linking to CC Library for quicker workflow
Sub-groups in libraries are super helpful for locating an asset quickly, but when you're re-linking an asset to the CC Library the Sub-Groups disappear and you have to scroll through hundreds of images across all brands and categories hoping to find the right image.

Color Picker digits round up
Hi, I like Illustrator for many reasons, but I find one little thing is annoying. So often I need to prepare the design files for my printer. And because the color picker doesn't have the feature of auto rounding up the digits, the color I used always has decimals, instead of a rounded up number in CMYK mode. It is not easy for the printer to process these color data. I have to round up each color manually, which is time-consuming and I might miss some elements. So is it possible to have the color picker have an option of rounding up digital for the color it picked up? And in the Appearance panel, the color digits are always not the same as the color picker panels show, which has the decimal digits.

More options to adjust UI scaling
Yesterday I downloaded Illustrator (26.0.2) for the first time. But the small User Interface stops me from using the product. The text is so tiny, especially in Properties and Layers panels. For me the possibility of a larger text is important. If there is no option for enlarging, I stop using the product. But I really want to use Illustrator and to create beautiful things.
I tried to fix the issue with Edit > Preferences > User Interface < Adjust the UI Scaling slider. But the changes are insignificant on the highest possible value. I think the UI Scaling slider is a little bit shorter than the slider from previous versions.
It will be great if the product becomes more accessible in the future!

User Groups in libraries instead of sharing to individuals
When Using Libraries to share files to other users it would benefit from being able to create groups of users to send to rather than adding each individual email address for each user every time.

Choose Which Paragraph Style is Based on Another Paragraph Style
When creating a new paragraph style, it would be very helpful to choose which other style it's based on. Currently, the only option is the default paragraph style. This is very nice when you have one base style, and you can build on it with other styles.

Do not allow save if multiple versions of same file is open in same computer
Lets say, you have 10 files open when you are working in illustrator. You take a break and come back, and open another instance of the same file say, X (you forgot you have X already open). It does give you a message, that 'the file is already open, do you want to reopen' etc., but you are quick these days to click ok on any dialog box, rather than reading what the message was. Now, you have two instances of the same file open in the same window. This leads to multiple complications:
1. You save one version. Take a break, come back and find another version. You see it does not have the latest changes, leading to confusion and overwork.
2. You save the latest file to close it. Then as you are closing the files, you reach the earlier file, which is an earlier version. Now to close you have to save, and the moment you save, you have overwritten the latest file with a previous version.To avoid this, if multiple version of the same file are open on the same computer, please give an error message -
' A file by the same name is already open - last revised at DD/MM HH:MM. Saving this file will overwrite this file.'
Or 'Switch to the other file to close that file'.
Etc.

Return setting values by scrolling mouse wheel in "New Document" dialog
It was very useful feature in older versions of illustrator and did my work faster. I wish it will return back

Allow the GRID to only be on the canvas, allowing the outer space to be used at the same time for element while building a project
Allow the GRID to only be on the canvas, allowing the outer space to be used at the same time for element while building a projects. ALSO allow a slider to dim down the lines and a line width slider for the lines. This way its fully customizable for the user.
