サブレイヤー
お世話になります。
いつも仕事で使わせていただいております。先日、複雑なデータをグループ化した際、あったものが消えてなくなるという不具合が発生し、危うくミスになるところでした。
調べたところ、サブレイヤーが使われており、グループ化することによりオブジェクトが最背面へ移動し、なくなってしまったということが分かりました。現在は、どうしてもグループ化しなくてはならないときは「レイヤーを統合」してグループ化するなどして対策していますが、ネット上でも不具合として話題になっているようなので、グループ化する、マスクをかける、などによりあったものがなくなってしまうようなとき（重なり順が変わる時）にはアラートでお知らせいただければこのような事故が減るしありがたいな、と思いました。

A standalone preset migration tool to allow for quicker setting migration and recovery in the event of a re-installation.
Settings are regularly changed/updated and need to be rolled out to all users in a short amount of time in our environment. As such, a tool that will quickly copy/paste from one location to the app preset folders would be ideal. Swatches is a key example of this.
The build in tool that comes with Illustrator fails more often than not and thus is something we do not use. Ideally, we'd like to see something a user can double click/execute on their own to update these files.

Update Blob Brush Tool Please with Refined Corners
Can you please add the feature of blog brush for clean drawings? Like no edges something like a paintbrush tool but an enhanced version. Please check the attachment for what I mean.. Just simply all lines joined together so it not create a mess. Thank You

Mirror Buttons
Mirror buttons (vertical and horizontal) directly on the control bar.
Also, implement this feature in Photoshop.

Keyboard shortcut for Asset Export
Please allow an assignable keyboard shortcut for the action of dragging something to the asset export panel. Once dragged the focus should immediately change to the asset name.

Add Canadian English to languages
Canadian English is missing from the language list. It has grammar and spelling rules of its own, and it is strange that despite its inclusion in InDesign it is missing in Illustrator.

NO consistency between products
In Illustrator zoom is with "cmd+scroll" while in most other products/programs (e.g. Acrobat reader) the combination is "ctrl+scroll". This would be nice if it would be consistent in all products!

Always show all options for all panels
The fact that we now have to click a button to show optional items for the Character panel in Illustrator hinders my workflow. It would be nice if we could make the options visible be default (always have them shown). For anyone creating logos or working with type, this is an absolute must!

More Text Frame & Type options like: Inset Spacing, Auto Fit, Columns and Bullet & Num Lists
I highly appraise adding the much needed Vertical Text Alignment feature from indesign to Illustrator. While they are at it I would like to request more Text Frame & Type features to be migrated over from Indesign. Like Inset Spacing, Auto Fit, Columns and Bullet & Numbered Lists .
Why? Due to Illustrator having more flexible and abundant creativity oriented vector design features I often pick Illustrator over Indesign to create single page designs like flyers or posters. Problem with Adobe Illustrator pressure on a Surface pro 7
I recently purchased a Surface Pro 7. I am a graphic designer and an artist and I've always worked on Illustrator but after installing it to my Surface Pro the experience is ruined for me.
I cannot get a sharp line even if my life depended on it.
Basically the lines inside the box are the lines I'm getting, the single line outside of the box is what I should be getting but I'm not. It's like the pressure works but not on the low end as I can't make a line sharp, it always ends up like this.

Allow to pick tool from Customize Toolbar for temp use
Customizing the tool bar has been a great addition. But there are some occasions where I need a tool (ex: spiral or grid). This is rarely used, maybe once a month or less, but when I do need it, I don't want to have to add it to my tool bar. Can we just choose the ellipses for customize tool bar, and when we click on a tool, it is activated. I don't need to see it added to the toolstrip, I just need it for that moment.

Ability to create a new document
I want to create a new document and not one from a template. Please add "Create New Blank Document".
I use this for mobile games and don't think it's fair I have to revert back to Legacy to just create a quick ai file to edit and go.

I want the behavior to be the same
For Japanese version of Illustrator, I want Indesign to have the same selection range when adjusting the line spacing.
I sometimes get confused because each behaves differently in the same selection.

Cluster / group small increment edits like nudging as one "move" in History to undo
In Photoshop, when a user nudges an object by holding down an arrow key for an interval of time, PS clusters that series of nudges as one "move". Then the user can undo all of the nudges at once with one "Undo move" command in the History panel. Since Illy doesn't have a History panel (and why is there no History panel? Don't like it, don't use it.), it's impossible to undo all of the nudges with one "Undo". Please make Illy treat nudges like PS does.

Some type of notification when a linked CC library asset has changed...
I'd like some type of notification when a CC library asset changes so I can choose to keep the current version (essentially un-linking it) or update to the latest version. This notification should happen when opening documents as well as while they are open. It does not have to be a modal dialog, it could also just be that the asset gets an icon or is highlighted somehow - but something noticeable. Improve Shape Builder by adapting the Corel’s Smart Fill functionality (Paint Bucket)
Whoever came up with the idea of the Shape Builder, they did utilize not that popular Live Paint in a great way. Make it even better!
Steal and add to Ai the Smart Fill from Corel Draw (see the GIF attached). You don’t have to create a live paint, you just click over the intersection, just like Shape Builder does, and you have your new shape over the original paths. Steal it and make it better — CorelDraw doesn’t understand click and drag here, and it’s less comfortable to set a color (while Ai won’t have any problem here). Like…21 votes
