1. Panels invading workspace

   At present, by default, this is how small the Layer and Artboard panels' sizes can be minimized to. They take up a lot of valuable screen room on my Mac. I still want to see these but don't want to dock them into the side as that takes up a lot more room. Currently it's too invasive to my workspace, even so when I am using more layers and artboards.

   I would suggest making it possible to make these panels even smaller so I can have extra space to be able to see more of my work and space that I could move other panels into without them overlapping.

   There might be other panels that could also be minimized, however I have not looked into that

   クラウドに新規保存をする際にエラーが出て保存することができなくなりました。

3. Swatches panel easier cleanup/delete and Recolor Artwork tool

   • Have delete options for swatch library in drop down or drag/drop to trash.

   • Enable delete option in user defined menu to clean up old/saved swatches no longer needed and organize alphabetically or enable us to drag/drop folder within panels for easier regrouping.

   • Also allow swatches folders to drag/drop to other open windows/working open files.

   • Allow us to customize our main Swatch panel without having to delete the AI standard swatches every time (but not delete them either just customize or minimize/hide the preset colors).

   • Recolor tool: enable a way to select a recolor option (or tag multiple options during scrolling) without losing your place or having to restart/re-do the turning on and off of selected colors bars each time. Maybe be able to checkmark image options that it stores in side panel so you're able to go through the whole recolor options without start/stop/reopen/redo etc... then be able to work off your new/saved options. And PLEASE add a go back button to recolor.

   A lot of time is wasted in both issues. It's cluttering up my workspace and not user friendly to clean out my swatches and organize as needed.
   Recolor tool is a great function but slows down in the usage as to have to save a new image, you lose the original and to get back to continuing you have to restart the whole process, especially when choosing to not recolor some colors... having to redo all that is time consuming. Adding a 'back' button will also help all of us who click too fast and skip over a great color option and frustrated to not be able to go back.

   • Also don't freeze the screen when recolor panel opens. Sometimes you need to zoom in to see colors better or movie images around and not being able to have access to moving anything makes one have to start all over, or take extra time making sure your screen is the ideal size/layout before starting recolor. Or make the recolor a large window which puts the image inside the window for easier access to zoom, scroll and interact with image.

   • When you open recolor and use the magnifier to see where each color is located, I can't find a way to get out of that mode, unless I hit the recolor scroll which rearranges my color options. Make it so unclicking pops you back out to where you were wo changing image.

   • When reducing colors in Recolor window (as used in patterns often) it'd be nice for it to update the number of colors live. Currently we have to keep track in our minds, accept and close the window. Reselect image and reopen recolor to know how many colors we are now at. A live updated number would be great or an easier method than having to reselect/reopen just to see the new number. Or perhaps, add a numerical value to the sidebar swatch panel on the side of the recolor window, to show the live change in number of colors during combining/reducing of colors.

5. Make Pantone color swatches available

   Sort out the stupidity of not having all the Pantone swatches available, to use as it used to be. I don't know what you guys are playing at with Pantone but their color books are industry standard in design and print. More importantly and they are NEEDED in order to work consistently. You need to bring them back what you currently have is next to useless. I am having to make new swatches and cross reference them with Pantone connect and save them, it's stupid.

6. Spellchecker exception

   I work on thousands of Illustrator files, often just proofing or looking for errors. The addition of the spellchecker was great for speeding up my visual scan of the files, but...

   It works as it should in area text, but if there is point text with forced line breaks, every word at the beginning of a line which is not capitalised gets flagged as an error which defeats my quick visual scan.

   I've had to write an action to select all text, convert it to area text, and then remove paragraph breaks so that I can see the spelling mistakes and typos. The downside of this action is that if there are legitimate paragraph breaks, I lose them too.

   It would be useful to have a "don't check capitalisation" toggle, even if you spell it with a 'z'.

8. Add a Ink mixing tool for pantone & special color mix with cmyk in vector.

   I am a Printing Packaging employee. am using adobe illustrator last 10 years continue. but am facing a issue with inmixing so for this I have to take plugin of some other company. but i have 4 user licenses of adobe.

9. Illustrator 26.5.2 The new Lock object tool is terrible

   Go back to previous old version of the object lock. I do not like the gray border of a locked object. I cannot click through the object on other objects around or near the locked object. The OLD way of locking objects was better. It just sat there visually and did not affect neighboring objects.

   This can be toggled with 'Select and Unlock objects on canvas' option in Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display section

10. Resources for Pen tool

    Dear Sirs, Architects of Adobe Illustrator.
    I am a user of this extraordinary program and I come to suggest that you create a resource so that the Pen tool can be used with the same resources as the Brush tool. That is, allowing us to expand through keyboard shortcuts and also be previously configured with Brush effects. It would make it much easier to create geometric designs, which are done more precisely with the Pen tool, but with predefined Brush strokes.

12. Gradient mesh symmetry capability

    I enjoy using gradient mesh and I think it would be great to be able to create a symmetry of gradient mesh paths when creating an object that requires symmetry in other words an object such as a computer screen design that I would like the left and the right colorations to be exactly the same. By doing this, there would be a half way symmetry point such as a rectangle or square where the halfway line would be the one of symmetry. So by creating a mesh line on the left it would automatically be created on the right.

    Currently to achieve this, I create the object detail on one half, then duplicate the object, reflect it, and use a clipping mask to hide the half I do not want.

    I enjoy using gradient mesh and I think it would be great to be able to create a symmetry of gradient mesh paths when creating an object that requires symmetry in other words an object such as a computer screen design that I would like the left and the right colorations to be exactly the same. 14. Default Swatches and Styles as part of New Document Dialog

    The first thing I do every time I create a new document is delete all those default swatches and add my own. And those pattern swatches (e.g., "Jive," "Golden Ring," "Alyssa"), I am literally never going to use those.

    And those quirky Graphic styles ("Jive_GS" etc). I am literally never going to use those either.

    Ideally, I'd like to load up a document with its swatches, paragraph styles, graphic styles etc as part of the "new document" dialog. I can choose artboard size, bleed, margins, all kinds of things.

    How about if I could pick swatch groups, paragraph styles, graphic styles, etc from CC libraries as part of the new document dialog?

    It's a small thing, but after year after year of deleting the 500 swatches that I will never use - and then adding the six that I need with literally every document I create - seems there could be a smarter way to get started. Know what I mean, Steve McQueen?

15. Nommage des plans de travail

    Dans le menu Objet/Plan de travail, avoir la possibilité d'ajouter les dimensions du plan de travail sélectionné ou de tous les plans de travail.
    L'ajout se ferait à la fin du nom ou dans des colonnes additionnelles (Largeur et Hauteur) avec la possibilité d'intégrer ces dimensions dans le nom du fichier exporté. Prévoir une syntaxe compatible avec le nomage des fichier et suffisamment différentiante pour pouvoir les mettre à jour par le biais des expression régulières (Suppression puis ajout des dimensions actualisées).

16. Paramétrage des traits de coupe

    Avoir la possibilité de régler les traits de coupe sur 3 paramètres :
    - La distance du plan de travail
    - la longueur des traits de coupe
    - la graisse des traits de coupe.
    Aujourd'hui, ils occupent une taille de 2cm soit une augmentation de la largeur et de la longueur de 4cm. Pour de l'impression grand format sur adhésif, cela fin par faire une surface non négligeable.
    Idem pour des impositions sur des documents A4 ou^l'on perd facilement une occurence en largeur et en hauteur.
    Au cas où les traits de coupes seraient normé pour l'imprimerie, il est toujours possible de passer par un bouton radio qui indiquerai
    • Normés
    • Personalisés :Distance [__ ] Longueur [__ ] Graisse [__ ]
    La paramétrage se ferait au sein des préférences d'Illustrator dans la section générale ou dans repères et grille (Rubrique moins encombrée).
    A envisager un paramêtre de couleur bien que Repérage me semble suffisant.

17. Save Default Swatches from Swatches Palette

    This is a struggle ever since. In the latest release, when creating an RGB document, I get tons of CMYK Swatches in the swatches palette. Why?

    Please make it easy to save Default Swatches for each color mode, preferably from within the Swatches Palette.

    Please don't suggest saving a Template, since that does not work due to privilege settings.

18. The Image Trace function can no longer pull fine detail. It has been ruined for me with new update.

    I like to halftone images in photoshop and turn them into vectors in illustrator. With the changes made to Illustrator 2023, I can no longer do this, everything is overly blobby and it's just lost any ability to pull fine detail. Everything is oversimplified, and it is unusable for most of the style of work I do.

    Please add a feature for illustrator that is a pattern preview, such as in photoshop or affinity designer. Since illustrator is literally for patterns and illustrations, this feature should be in AI
