    Do you have the test fil you can share with the team?

    Please remove anything sensitive from it and leave only the shape with the gradient. Do not move it into another doc or make sure it uses the same color mode as the original document does.

  3. Stroke not aligned with Fill

    Stroke is not aligned with Fill
    When Drawing, the stroke is not rendered on the actual place where it's placed and not properly aligned with Fill

    It looks like your path using a brush applied to it, and it’s a loose and wobbling brush tip, not following the centerline. The fill knows nothing about the brush tip and strictly follows the vector path, unlike brush.

    To solve the problem, you’d either have to use a different brush and make the path look wobbly at the object level with other means, like Roughen effect, or expand the appearance of the objects and fix the fill manually.

  4. Select Same Fill & Stroke not working, version 24.3

    Select Same Fill & Stroke is not working in Illustrator CC, version 24.3. I'm using it on a large image traced vector pattern and need to change out the shape colors. I've used to do this all the time in past versions.

  5. Links panel shows wrong colour space

    In a CMYK document the Links panel shows RGB images as CMYK. In the example image a PNG, which can never be CMYK, is incorrectly reported as being CMYK.

    This is in a CMYK Illustrator file. In an RGB file the image is correctly reported as being RGB. Placed CMYK images are correctly reported as CMYK.

  6. Snap to point not working

    Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6, Illustrator 24.2

    Selection points no longer seem to appear on hover and snap to point isn't working even if I quit the app and restart.

    This is getting kind of ridiculous - trying to work is frustrating if you need to be precise with something.

  7. Pasting goes to the back of the layer - and not on top!!!!!

    When copying an object and then pasting the new object goes to the back of the stack of objects and not to the front! Please fix and make it go to the top.

  8. Document Setup - Artboard size not showing cursor

    Pre update the artboard size fields (W: and H: fields) after clicking Document Setup button in top toolbar would show cursor position. After updating to 24.2 the cursor is no longer visible. The field will highlight but we are not able to see the cursor position.

    Please allow for cursor to be visible inside these fields.

  9. Opacity issues with white

    Opacities are not working correctly. When I have a shape with with a normal opacity set to a level below 100 and above another shape that is white. The white appears as a color underneath and it should not. it should be invisible. Also multiply effect is producing incorrect color values. Please see attached image.

  11. Expand Appearance stopped working for Offset Path on Illustrator 2020

    Sometimes there's no way to expand the Offset Path you created. Some other times it works, so I'm pretty sure it's a bug

  12. Create new file dialog box lags

    When I'm working with multiple files, opening and closing, there are times where I copy an object to a new file. I use Command-N, but the dialog box lags and takes several seconds to show up. Is it trying to connect to something online? Why is there lag?

    1. Which OS you are working on?
    2. What is the version of AI?
    3. Have you stared facing this issue recently?
    4. If you are using some other Adobe application, Is it happening in that application as well?

  13. text wrap image link

    AI 23.0.3 (64-bit) on Windows 10

    Automatic image update (if you change an image outside of AI it will ask if you want to update the image in you AI file) does not work when text wrap is on.
    The image has been masked to a shape then text wrap on this new shape.

    Hopefully this is a simple fix because I don't want to keep turning text wrapping off when I want to refresh the image.

    Hi, my Illustrator font dropdown disappeared. Since then, I've updated it to the latest Illustrator (24.0.1 - 64 bit) but it's still not showing. What's happening? Thanks!

  15. Opening WMF through Windows Command Line creates distortion

    When opening a WMF in the latest 2020 AI via the Windows command line, e.g.

    "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 2020\Support Files\Contents\Windows\Illustrator.exe" 745-2969563.wmf

    It opens the WMF, but it is distorted as in the attached wmf_distorted.png.

    However, if you open a blank document and import it with File->Place, it renders it correctly

  16. Illustrator v 24 asset export bug with sizing incorrectly

    asset export bug, it does not export assets at the size selected but instead makes them super tiny and unusable. I have had to download the last version before that so that I can use asset export correctly with what I have selected.

  17. Problem recording on the server

    On some files with the 2020 version of Illustrator only I have this error message:
    "The specified network location is not available."

  18. Export for screens > SVG Exports only some of the artboards.

    MacOS Mojave 10.14.6
    Illustrator 24.0

    When I use the export for screens it doesn't export all of my artboards to SVG. I have 21 artboards and only 8 of them are being exported.

    Is there any workaround for this bug?

    UPDATE: It exports all the artboards but it takes a long long time. Is it normal?

  19. Gradient panel causes bugs

    The gradient panel really makes me nervous. On rare occasions when dropping a color onto a gradient handle to change it, Illustrator suddenly just closes without a warning. Just gone in a split second along with all my work. No auto save. Nothing. It even won't show my recently opened files when I open it back up. This issue also happened the last time Illustrator was updated but then it was fixed. Please fix it again as I'm always SUPER nervous when I have to change settings for a gradient.   20. Selection is not visible in Illustrator 2020

    I just installed the latest version of Illustrator and it's pretty horrible to use. I cannot see the direct selection points on any object. I have tried toggling show bounding box and it doesn't make any difference. When an object is selected it is not highlighted so it's impossible to tell whether it is selected or not.
    I'm running on a PC with Windows 10.
